Hey ya'll i'm one of Jawi's friends and she told me to check out her thread here @ VJ. I've been reading since Toya & Mya was shopping for the trip but i never felt compelled to post previous to now. The wedding fiasco actually had me teary-eyed. I actually felt Toya anxiety/franticness when she was trying to get to Fitz in the car, Fitz pain from losing a brother, Tradee's guilt for not takin Delmar's behavior more seriously, and all the emotions of Mya. My dear Jawi, i know you paining from all that you going through, from Mr. A to the crazy job but i have nuthin but sheer sisterly love for you. There is no need to feel alone b/c lil sis is here. I have broad(but girly) shoulders to help you carry some of your troubles and for you to rest your weary head on when needed. Just keep that in mind. I have absolutley fell in love with all the characters although i don't feel sorry for Delmar(the deranged twin). All i can say is Jawi is turnin the authoress game inside out with this one! I'm lookin for this book to drop soon!! I understand patios well and speak it alright. I've been to Ja twice and fell in love with it before i left Sangster the 1st time. When i left the 1st time i felt so detached i ended up looking for a newspaper online and found the Gleaner so that helps me not miss it so much. The last time i went whhhooo chile, i'd have to start my own thread if i told ya'll that story. All i can say is the magic of the island is serious. Now for the shout outs!!! Kimmi i luuuuv da pix. Da granma pix, da weddn party pix all of em, they are truly beautiful, i know jawi's sis posted sumthin but haven't seen her in a while, The daily chukkle trips me out, The culture here is sooo supportive. All i can say is well done ladies. I especially like the "tell something you like about yourself" thang ya'll did. That was really nice. Anyhow ya'll can look fwd to seeing me post stuff now that i've stopped "lurking" and actually said somthing. Alright ladies, as you were!

Hey likkle sis...I know. I've never really had a whole lot of girlfriend support...so I often forget that I don't have to go it alone. I appreciate the love...I love you all the same.

Sorry I only show up so late. I work a crazy job that does not allow me to get to computer too often. Then I babysit (supervise) a particular group of noisy ppl that would not make it such a pleasure for me.

I cried and had to tell myself it is only a story, then I cried somemore. (No I am not expecting, so it is ok Kimmy, that you cried)

Congrats on all the new babies coming soon, I hope this happens someday for me.

JAWI, dear go ahead look into self publishing as well. Girl, give BET a call. I know you can do this. Actually the movie, I always enjoy the book before seeing any movie. So I am ready to go to the cinema and support you. Remember let's not bootleg B.O. so that it counts at the boxoffice. And make sure you check your ticket before leaving the counter to verify it has the movie you requested.

I finally made it through all 15 some pages I needed to catch up on and I am speechless I am not preggers but I too was bawling my eyes out (very discreetly here at work).

Jawi you are such a fantastic writer and couldn't believe how caught up I was in all the twists and turns...very well done girl...fantastic! Many kudos and blessing to you

I was beginning to wonder if I was all over the place with the story...or if the flow was right. I usually get stuck if the storyline is not right...and I have to start over. When it fits, I can write for hours...or a least until my neck and shoulder can't take anymore.

Tradee and Mya are awakened by the constant knocking of the headboard against the wall coming from the adjacent room. They can hear the heated whispers and moans. Fitz’s raucous words are urgent and dripping in eroticism, deseparation, and lust. Tradee and Mya almost feel dirty because the sexual energy is affecting them. They are turned on, and sympathetic to the male pleas coming cross the soft Caribbean night air. Tradee understands the raw animalistic quality, the sounds of a wounded lion seeking comfort. He is dumbfounded that he feels the same sense of loss, but recognizes suddenly that he lost a brother as well.

Mya reaches out for Tradee’s hand in the dark. She kisses each of his bruised knuckles softly before she tenderly places his middle finger into her mouth. Mya allows her tongue to caress Tradee’s finger sensuously over and over. Then, she places his moistened digit into her waiting #######. Mya uses her own hands to control the motion of Tradee’s finger. Tradee shifts to his side, and props his head up on his other hand. He leans over to kiss Mya’s panting mouth. Mya pulls Tradee’s head closer, and she becomes ravenous in her attempts to devour his tongue. Tradee groans solemnly, as he grabs her quivering thighs, and drags her roughly to the center of their bed.

Tradee hovers high in the air on the tips of his fingers and toes over Mya’s spread eagle form, before he dives deep into her waiting womb. He pulls completely out, and dives in again. The ardent motion of his back and hips set the bed in motion. The move skates away from the wall as Tradee withdraws, then it slides powerfully back against the wall as he re-enters Mya. Dogs begin baying at the full moon, goats are bleating and roosters loose sense of time as the crow on sleep-weary vocal chords. Tradee and Mya trade moans and grunts with Fitz and Toya like they are playing in a house of see-saws. The neighbors will not sleep on this night of buried pain, and pregnant indulgence.

Melodee: Uh…yes. I-I-I I’m looking for my boy-my-my fiancé…Delmar McCoy. Is he here? Please ma’am I need to see him.

Doctor: I’m Dr. Denton, and you are?

Melodee: My-My name is Melodee. I really need to see my fiancé! My friends told me that he was hurt in-in-in a horrible accident.

Dr. Denton: Well, let’s see if a nurse can help you locate him. Was it a car accident, or work?

Melodee: H-huh? Whaa? Ehnn. Nutten nuh gwaan so. Mi friends dem tell mi sey im get im face mash hup inna wan fight. Please dacta…mi need fe find im!

Dr. Denton: Oh. I see. Stay here, and I’ll see what I can find out. By the way, your dress is simply amazing. Where ever did you find it?

Melodee: Ah whaa! Dacta Denton…mi nuh wan fe be rude and facety…but mi nuh have time fe chat bout mi frock! MI WAN FE SEE MI MAN…DELMAR ALTON MCCOY! *kiss teet* Where is he?

Dr. Denton: Pardon me. Nurse, please help this woman calm down and locate her boyfriend. Thank you. Good day ladies.

Melodee doesn’t wait for the nurse. She heads directly for the hospital wards in search of Delmar. Melodee frantically searches each bed to her left and right.

Melodee: SHOTTA!!! Baby…it’s me…Mel. Where are you? Delmar? Delmar?

Nurse: *in a curt whisper* Miss, you are not allowed to walk back here without an escort! Please keep your voice down. We have patients that need not be disturbed by your boisterous outbursts.

Melodee ignores the nurse and continues her search. When she happens upon Delmar’s bed, she gasps loudly. Delmar is strapped to the bed rails with soft cloth and leather restraints. His face is swollen beyond recognition, and it is not clear if he is sleeping or not. Melodee drops her head, and begins weeping uncontrollably. She can’t bring herself to speak, so she runs quickly for the exit before her stomach empties itself.

Ian is dropped off at the front entrance at the same time Melodee reaches the front door. She can’t believe he followed her here, and she didn’t know whether to be angry or happy that he cared so much about her.

Ian: Melodee! What are you doing here? Why did you leave me like that?

Melodee: I-I-I’m sorry Ian. What happened to you? Why are you limping? Let me go find a nurse. Wait here.

Ian: Nah, it’s cool. All I need from you is the keys to my rental. You don’t have to worry about me darkening your door anymore. I’m flying back home first thing in the morning. I hope you enjoy all your little trinkets and gifts. Excuse me. I think my ankle may be broken.

Melodee: Whaa? Wait, I-I-Ian…uh baby. Can we talk about it? I-I-I ad-admit I was a little rude at the house. But, I-I had to see him, an-an-and I kn-knew you-u wouldn’t have approved of me coming here. He-he…umm Del-Delmar, I mean, is in really bad shape. I-I-I’m so-so-so-sorry. Ple-please don’t do this now! I need you to understand Ian. I need you.

Nurse: Missus…yuh fiancé is awake now, and he is asking for you. He is in a lot of pain, and we just medicated him again. If you want to see him while he is awake, you should hurry.

Ian: Ha-ha! Fiance??? Really? Don’t let me stand in the way of true love then Missus Melodee.

Melodee: Ian, you are not being fair! *whispering* I-I had to-to-to tell them something to-to see him. D-didn’t I let you work things out with your ex-fiancee?

Nurse: Ma’am?

Melodee: Sh**! Oh-okay. I-I’ll be right there. Th-thanks.

Nurse: *kiss teet*

Ian: *Suddenly in tremendous pain from shifting his weight wrong.*PHOCK! Melodee! My foot! Sh**! Help me! PHOCK MY FOOT!!!

Melodee: Nurse…nurse! Where did she go? Hold on baby, I’ll get a wheelchair.

Ian: Sh**! Hurry back please! AAAAAAARRRRGGGGGGG!!!!

Melodee runs into the hospital in search of a wheelchair and a nurse. A doctor comes up to her.

Doctor: Are you Delmar McCoy’s fiancée?

Melodee: *glancing over shoulder* Uh..yeah man. Whaa gwaan?

Doctor: Well, your fiancé is really worked up, and he is starting to disturb the other patients. He is asking for you, as his wife, and he will not calm down no matter what we do for him. Please follow me, and hurry.

Melodee forgets the wheelchair and Ian as she glances once more over her shoulder before hurrying after the doctor. When they arrive at Delmar’s bedside, tears are flowing from his swollen eyes, and he is fretfully muttering under his breath.

Nurse: Doctor, it appears the sedative is working now. He should be resting peacefully in a few minutes. Ma’am, your husband loves you very much. He said that you just got married today. Congratulations Mya. Whatever happened to your husband is indeed unfortunate, and we will work hard to get him healthy and back home to you. Let me know if you need anything else. Good day, now if you will excuse me.

Melodee: My-Mya? My-my name isn’t…umm nurse, there is a gentleman outside in need of a nurse and wheelchair right away. He is complaining about his foot. His name is Ian Royale, III.

Nurse: Is he a friend of the patient?

Melodee: No…no…um…can you please just hurry? Thanks.

Delmar: Mya…Mya…I love you Hearth Hangel! I love you. You have made me the happiest man alive by marrying me. I can’t wait to spend my life making love to you Mya. Mya…Mya…Mya…Mya…hold me MYA! DON’T LEAVE ME MYA!

Melodee: Shotta. Shotta. It’s okay. It’s me Melodee. Mya is not here. Listen to me Shotta. Can you hear me? Shotta, it’s me Mel.

Delmar: Mya…I never…I never loved Melodee. Har and har friend Chantelle chase mi and seduce mi. Mi his sarry dat mi neva tell yuh bout har Mya. Yuh have fe believe mi…mi love yuh puttus. Yuh his mi Hearth Hangel. Melodee ah fe mi past…mi ago come ah farrin and we ago do big tings Mya.

Melodee: I-I-I-I-I…I hate you you bast**d! I wish Rasta had killed you! You deserve whatever you get! Bumbocl** pu**yHOLE!

Melodee backs away from Delmar still muttering incoherently. She lowers her head in a feeble attempt to hide her tear streaked face. In her haste to leave Delmar, she almost trips over Ian in the wheelchair.
