Attachment to I-129F, Question 18

Hallo an alle!!!

Eine kleine Frage: Bin gerade dabei mit meiner Verlobten das Fiancé-Package vorzubereiten. Beí dem oben genannten Schreiben hätte ich ein Anliegen: Neben dem eigentlichen Beschrieben vom wie, wo, wann, (warum ) etc beschreibt sie auch, wie wir derzeit und vorher im Kontakt geblieben sind (email, msn usw.). Neben dem Erklären wie wir telefonieren (peterzahlt.de, gobananas) und chatten bezieht sie dieses auf die "proofs", welche im Package dahinter folgen. Kann man das machen oder sollte man dieses zum Letter of Evidence hinzufügen?!

I am from Berlin, Germany. My current fiancée comes from ND, USA. We r actually preparing the package stuff and I have a question about the question 18 of i-129f: she talk about the where, when, (why GRIN) and how. While describing the situations, she also explain (very detailed) how we stay in contact (mail, phone etc.). She refers to the "Letter of Evidence" while describing. Is that possible or would it be better to create a single (extra) letter for that?!

If you have enough space on the form I129F then write it in there,if you need some more space then add an additional piece of paper.

I think most people do attach a whole separate sheet to the I-129 to describe how you met and when you've been together, etc. I think on this, the more information you give them the better.

If you attach a separate sheet, write at the top of it: (attachment to I-129F) and (Part B, Question 18). Remember to sign and date the sheet too.

It is only needed if you dont have enough space there where question 18 is.

If you can manage to fit in your entire story like we did then you dont need an extra sheet.

Keep it short and to the point. They're only asking how you met, not for proof of an on-going relationship. Save that for the interview. Explanations are only needed if you don't meet the requirements for having met in the last two years. All I put was "Met in person from Sept.3, 2006 to Sept.10, 2006 after communicating for months over the internet." The dates matched my hotel receipts, trip itinerary, and passport stamps.
