AOS & EAD A#

We receive the NOA for my husbands AOS and EAD filing. His A# on his EAD receipt is correct. However, the EAD on his AOS receipt is completely different. Is this normal?

I would have made a suggestion for how to get them to correct that, but I don't know. Good luck!

You have to contact the phone number that was provided in your NOA. You have to call them right away and let them know about the error of your husband's A#. Hope it will get corrected soon!

we had the same problem last year

you have to call them and make a request to change it, you will speak with an operator, she/he will ask you some questions. After they process it you will get a confirmation letter about this request.

but be careful, it may take them a while, like 2-3 months, so if you do anything before like biometrics, tell them that there is a mistake, so that you will not get 2 records, because this could mess up.

I got my receipts for AOS and EAC in july, and called them stright away, but I still got by EAC in september with the wrong number, and 2 days later the letter that they changed the number but they noticed my card was already sen so I have to replace it. So we had to send all forms again, and the original EAC application to prove that we were right from beginning.

So call them as soon as possible, but there still may be problems later.

Wish you luck, and that it goes better than with in our case. It was really not nice experience
