Try having a baby.

That's painless.

I was thinking that too.

You know if men had to birth babies, the world would end!

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

I had excruciating gas pain when I was in my early 20's...I ate way too much chili!!!! The doctor said it was not uncommon...... :D

Gas pain is mine (haven't had children)...

Was rushed to the hospital one night because I was throwing up uncontrollably and passing out due to prep meds for a colonoscopy. They make you drink a soda like drink that helps clean you out your insides.. my bowel was SO irritated that I was in excruciating pain.. the ENTIRE process was horrible, including the colonoscopy as well which my mother could hear my screams from a waiting room down the hall.. I screamed in agony and the Dr's never ended up finishing it because I was in so much pain..

Not fun at all..

I'm lucky that I can't remember what must have been the worst pain in my life because I was too young.

My grandad used to wet shave using a cup of very hot water (straight from the kettle and left to cool), lather brush etc. He put his cup on the table to let it cool down to the temperature he wanted. I was an 18 month old toddler and though the cup was a drink... I pulled it down for a drink and scalded my neck and chest and, apparently as I pushed the cup away me, the remaining water splashed over my upper right arm. Rather gruesome but my aunt was the first one to get to me and she said that the skin on my neck rolled down like a venetian blind.

I had a skin graft put on my upper right arm (taking skin from my left thigh) and I am very lucky that that is the only part that had visible scaring.

When I was 18 I had an accident that meant a piece a of glass entered the palm of my right hand and exited the other side. Whilst I felt no pain when it happened (I guess I was in shock), hours later at the hospital the pain was unbelievable. I had severed every nerve and tendon in the palm of my hand and had 6 hours of micro surgery to repair it. After the operation my hand was claw like as they had to stretch the skin to put everything back together. The following months I had weekly appts to stretch the skin to open the hand and that was hellish too.

in no particular order:

- second car accident: the pain afterwards of my broken hips

- recently, my tattoo (the second time I went to fill in the color) hurt quite a bit

- when I had my tongue pierced, the tattoo guy told me not to move my tongue when he started it and I did :P

- when I had my tonsils removed I remember the pain afterwards

can;t remember any more at the moment, I'm sure there were more

3-way tie for me:

1) Sinus infection a few weeks back. Hurt from my throat/neck all the way up the side of my face and to my temple. Like the worst toothache/sinus infection/sore throat/earache/migraine combo. I was literally on my hands and knees bawling, it hurt so bad.

2) Sticking my hand in an industrial food processor (yes Im really that stupid, and procreating to boot!). In my defense I was barely out of my teens at the time and therefore a great deal stupider (although not completely illiterate)

3) Waking up during back surgery while the surgeon was placing wire leads in my spinal canal. The bill for surgery kinda hurt too.

As for childbirth, Im luckily going to have a c-section. There will be no squeezing of the watermelon through a key-hole for me.

Mine would have to be recovery from liposuction of my hips and thighs, ugh! Oh, and the infection I had after one of my wisdom teeth were pulled, really bad recovery for that one too.

Oh, and also on surgery recovery pain, one of the most agonizing pains was when I couldn't pee after surgery due to the anesthetic still in effect and my bladder got REALLY full, the pain is unbelievable. The nurse also took forever to get the catheter in in order to empty my bladder and I honestly thought I was gonna die of the pain.
