spinal taps...not fun...I was 9 very sick.

The nice thing about childbirth is you forget how bad it hurts...till you do it again. My Grandma said to me after my first child..."not as much fun coming out as it was going in was it" She is not your average Granny  Used to suffer from debilitating migranes that was no walk in the park either..I would get them so bad the vessels in my eyes would burst, eww, not very attractive. Thankfully that is all behind me now, but at least I have learned to manage the pain, great when you want to pierce something

Ouch ouch ouch! I can't imagine the spinal tap thing, I think having someone poke around in my spine sounds absulotely horrid. (alas no epidurals during childbirth, the throught of a needle in my back scares me more than any pain)

I don't have nearly as bad of a feeling in my stomach reading about the privates stuck in zipper though. Being cut in and sewn in your genitals is very common for women *snicker*

You tend to remember at a certain point of no return when you're around 8 cm dilated... ;)

With my first baby I gave in and requested an epidural. The dude who stuck the needle in my back "missed" a wee bit and that REALLY REALLY hurt. Felt like my head was being electrocuted if that makes sense. I had a spinal headache for two weeks after the fact wherein if I so much as sat up straight HUGE shooting pains went into my head.

Osteomyelitis and having a 7cm kidney stone stuck in the ureter.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Well I don't know but it didn't happen when I had the spinal with my second so I guess it's a 50 50 chance...at least with me. lol

Well something else that scares me is that my daughter was a 35 weeker......a tad bit early and still weighed in at 10 pounds. Oh yes.....she got super stuck too. Couldn't get her out and they couldn't push her back to do a section! My son was a 34 weeker and was 8 pounds. My doctor said my next baby would be at least a month early and between 10-13 pounds!!! I'm just not in a hurry to do that again.
