How many of you out there are aware that even after your case has gone through the USCIS and NVC, with security checks done at those levels, will still encounter Administrative Processing AFTER the interview????

And depending on what country you come from it could take weeks, months or years.

Check out : http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/..._USCIS_via_221g. Basically, if your case is not fraud you have little to fear. A good lawyer will prep you for the interview anyway.

Yes administrative review I believe is when you have some sort of documents missing and AP is a a security check process almost on all young individuals that belong to Muslim countries.

Your lucky with Admin review. I've been in Admin process since 9th of October of 07 and God knows when this night mare will end. Lets pray we all get through this miserable time.

Additional administrative processing doesn't relate to marriage fraud. It is additional SECURITY CHECKS Meaning name checks, fingerprint check and other screenings relating to "dual purpose" professions. For example, if a person has a profession that could be used for dangerous technologies, they will more than likely have their names checked against a specific database.

IBIS

MANTIS

CONDOR

are just some of databases that a person can get checked against.
