Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Love it, except for squid and octopus. Won't eat anything that has tentacles. Too chewy.

yep, love it...and like to be adventurous like the last time I had the raw quail egg on top of roe in some sort of roll... mmmm... I'm NOT a fan of wasabi or the ginger at all and sometimes I've tasted what might be a ginger flavored mayo that I'm not crazy about.

And if you think it's just fish, you're wrong... I had some tempura battered sweet potato in a maki roll, and a (cooked) egg nigiri that was sooooooo good. Of course I did have the salmon, crab, and tuna maki as well.

You guys DO know it's not all raw, right? Heck, if you like shrimp, prawn sushi is basically a cooked, butterflied shrimp on a lump of white rice with a dab of horseradish. Surely you brave men could eat something like that. Or a California roll? That's basically rice, cooked crab (usually imitation crab, but the better places make it with real crab), avocado, cucumber, and a little mayo. Or a Philly Roll, with smoked salmon, cream cheese, and rice?

Personally, I'll try anything that doesn't bite back...but that's just me. :innocent:

I heart almost all types of sushi. I'll say I'm not a big fan of unagi, octopus, or mackerel. My favorite is scallop sashimi!

And extra wasabi please!

Oh, and I don't really like any of the ones that have mayo or cream cheese in them. Dairy, fish, and seaweed aren't a good combo for my taste buds.

I love sushi in all forms! Luckily hubby likes it a lot too and so does my son. In fact, we have this small sushi place that we try to go to every week. We go there so much that we have our own chopsticks there :D

Well, since I die if I eat seafood, I'm gonna say "Gah! Disgusting! Get that ####### away from me!"

Even if I *could* eat seafood, I wouldn't. The smell disgusts me. The appearance disgusts me. Everything about it disgusts me, actually.

I can't even be near seafood. Mags and I were eating at a restaurant one time - turned out it was seafood night - and we had to leave because I was about to hurl on the table.

Other times, I HAVE puked from smelling it.

you would get along with neil...he says whoever caught the first fish should have thrown it back and done us all a favor

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.
