What's the ping pong ball thingie?

Okay to make a long story short: The three drag queens in the movie come across this bar in their travels. The owner has to lock up his wife in the basement every night because every time the bar opens, she wants to do the ping-pong ball show. She gets up on the bar, sits down, and shoots ping-pong balls out of her (you know where)across the whole bar room.

May 7,2007-USCIS received I-129f
July 24,2007-NOA1 was received
April 21,2008-K-1 visa denied.
June 3,2008-waiver filed at US Consalate in Panama
The interview went well, they told him it will take another 6 months for them to adjudicate the waiver
March 3,2009-US Consulate claims they have no record of our December visit, nor Manuel's interview
March 27,2009-Manuel returned to the consulate for another interrogation(because they forgot about December's interview),and they were really rude !
April 3,2009-US Counsalate asks for more court documents that no longer exist !
June 1,2009-Manuel and I go back to the US consalate AGAIN to give them a letter from the court in Colon along with documents I already gave them last year.I was surprised to see they had two thick files for his case !

June 15,2010-They called Manuel in to take his fingerprints again, still no decision on his case!
June 22,2010-WAIVER APPROVED at 5:00pm
July 19,2010-VISA IN MANUELITO'S HAND at 3:15pm!
July 25,2010-Manuelito arrives at 9:35pm at Logan Intn'l Airport,Boston,MA
August 5,2010-FINALLY MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 23,2010-Filed for AOS at the International Institute of RI $1400!
December 23,2010-Work authorization received.
January 12,2011-RFE

Very true! I know a few people that have come here without a lick of English language knowledge. It's not a requirement for a visa. I admit, it would not be for me. But, to each their own.

You're going to laugh. I remember back in the day in Panama when somebody from one of the bases married someone from the "interior"(country),they would communicate in this make-shift sign language. It was a a funny sight to see.

I bet. I can't imagine it. I love to talk. Most of the time I'm not saying anything but I need to talk.

Me too. Can't imagine there's a lot of depth to a relationship like that. Or much chance of getting a visa.

I don't know. A lot of couples get visas who barely know each other and can barely communicate in a common language.

For me it was her eyes, smile, great sense of humour, laugh, unabashed character, athletic abilities, and her little sporty body! She's an intellectually challenging spirit and truly every wish fulfilled. (L)

:D That's awesome.

Alex has all the qualities I'd look for in a friend, but with extra added cuteness on top of that. In fact he's so cute that sometimes it causes me to be insecure and worry because I'm not good-looking enough for him!

He's also the most generous, kind-hearted person I know. There's not a single mean bone in his body.

We met online and the first thing was the fact he seemed to have a half-decent understanding of women, demonstrated good values towards women and seemed very mature - I thought he was much older than he was (he was 18 at the time). Since then even when we first met, everything just seemed totally normal and comfortable - I can't imagine wanting to spend my life with anyone else :luv:

I think it was probably the fact that Mark was so very open and intense about everything. He's the first person I've known who's more intense and open than I am. He's also kind of goofy a lot of the time and makes me laugh, and he's very kind and gentle. And he has always looked at me seeing me as a whole person and accepting of everything about me.

Physically: he's tall, has the most beautiful hands I've ever seen, and sexy eyes.

That was a song for us as well!!

One thing that was quite attractive when we first met was when he'd play the drums!! It was really sexy.

But over all, there are a lot of features that made me fall in love with him. He is very kind and thoughtful and he was able to surprise me and hardly anyone can do that! Chris is 6ft7 and is able to wrap his whole arms around me and envelope me in this fantstic hug. It makes me feel safe and loved.

After all these years...I know it's only been about 4 in total, but after all this time I still love him and that is different from any other relationship I've been in!

My fiance's smile and full lips is what did it for me.

it is to bad Panamanian tried to start a very nice positive thread here, and Cynical people like Alex+R has to screw it up.

when you find "the right one" simply being in their presence is satisfying,

this process is already emotionally trying, and then someone implies you are not likely to get a visa.......way to be positive and support people going through the same frustration.

It was the look he gave me across several tables in a crowded outdoor cafe in Germany, after he'd sent a note to me via a waitress....

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.
