Mawnin Kimmy,

When I saw this picture of your G'grandma I started BAWLING (out of control)...you see, my grandmother raise me and we didn't have much then, but we've come a long way. She reminds me so much of my grandmother. I remember back in the day when we didn't have current and she would read to my brother and I by kerosene lamp. I still remember the smell of the lamp burning. And how she would press my uniforms with starch that was so strong that the pleats in my skirt would never BEND (wow how I miss those days). I miss platting and greasing her hair (sorry...BAWLING again). I miss gratering cocunut for the rice for Sunday dinner and her fry, browstewn or curry chicken. The love I have for my grandmother and the way she raise me was endless. She took care of everyone kids in the district, some of them she didn't even know, because they came from so far away. She's 85 and I want her to live to be 100. I wanted her to come to states many years ago from back in the 80s, but she say, "MI NAW GIT PAN NO IRON BURD...dat deh no fi inna di AIR".......so, she's still back home. I miss her so much.

Awww...Lawny..(((((HUGS)))))) sorry I made u cry...funny that this is my fathers mom but even though I knew her growing we were not close until I got older and wiser...I love both my grandma's..so I know how u feel
