My fiance & I have a child together, but we never got him added to her birth certificate yet. When it gets to the part of the I-129F form about my fiance's child, I didn't know if it still applied for us to put her name down since she's with me. Will his name not being on her certificate complicate things? Just trying to get an idea what to get prepared for since children usually makes them ask more questions.

If I have properly sorted through the unconnected pronouns correctly, you are the foreign fiance and mother but did not declare the US Citizen fathers's name on your daughter's birth certificate. A child with a USC parent can gain US Citizenship on that basis but that is not a visa process. The USC parent should contact the consulate about the process of declaring his daughter a US Citizen and get her a passport, not a visa.

Sorry that my post was confusing. I was on a short work break at the time & was working against the clock! Terribly embarrassing!

My daughter & I are U.S. citizens. I am applying for my U.K. fiance's visa to get his booty to the U.S.A.

Hope that clarified my initial post!

bump... :innocent:

Sure, you list the child as his child. Make a note the child is a USC living with you, so they don't expect the child to apply for a visa.
