I sent it. By the way, I'm really disappointed that I won't be able to come visit you. Hopefully with Elvia's help my financial situation will improve soon!

Both of your financial situations will be okay and then both of you can plan that trip.... well in time. and both of you will need to stick to it.

Hopefully with Elvia's help both our financial situations will improve! I am disappointed you can't come either. We can do it some other time though when it won't put either of us in a bind.

Okay, I got it and read it. I am not really sure what will come out of it but I think it basically says CDJ has been wrong in denying some of the applicants. I think they will find out, Javier's instance, was not abusing or habit forming. Which, from what I understood, doesn't make him inadmissable. It seems to me, based on this article, that he was wrongly denied. Maybe I am just being overly optimistic but that's how I understood it. It really sounded very positive to me. I am really excited, I can't imagine how you must feel right now. I am so hoping this turns out well.

Maybe Javier will be home soon and then we can all visit at the same time. That would be really nice.

Charity, thanks for looking at that thing. The questions I still have which I think are important are

Who wrote it?

Who is it addressed to?

Who will actually read it?

What does it seek to accomplish?

And when will all this occur?

I think if I could find the answers to those questions I would be very content.

I don't know the answers to those questions. Does Laurel? She should be able to tell you where it came from and who the author is. She may even be able to tell you what it will accomplish and when it may happen. As with anything immigration related, it will probably take a while. They will probably need to do a lot of research into it and compare the findings before they make a decision. I don't know, all in all, I still think it is a good thing.

Elvia: We are sticking to the plan. Just forgot the coupons. You will need to remind me next weekend. I'm not used to buying a paper so it's not something I think about. We have bought groceries and Javier's gas and we still have plenty leftover. It should be fine. I don't think it's going to be as bad as I thought. I am really impressed with us. We are doing great to remind each other how important it is to save money. I can't wait till this weekend so we can spend some more time together. I think I like staying at home more than going out now. Thanks again.

Hey girls! I have been in and out today. Just got back from the grocery store. Javier's check finally showed up this morning. It didn't go so well. I didn't get coupons because I forgot about getting the paper. I have a card for the store I went to so I tried to get things on sell. I got enough stuff for supper tonight and tomorrow night and lunch for me for two days. Then some general things we were out of like coffee, eggs, sugar, etc. It was $57.60. I think I really need to do the coupon thing.

send me an itemized pm regarding what bills where paid and how much javier really got. and how much you have now.

I sent you a report. I can't believe it has sunk in so quickly. I find myself asking, is this really necessary? I think I could do really good at the grocery store with some coupons. Especially if I find some coupons for the items that are already discounted with my card. I got some 8 o'clock coffee today buy one get one. It was $4.18 for both packages. The other coffee I was going to buy was almost $9. I really tried to scope out the deals. I have never done that before. I am really good about sales when I buy clothes but have never been worried about it with groceries. I already have the skills, I just need to put them in place. It's kinda fun to try and find cheap stuff.

asking yourself if it is really necessary or if you just want it is excellent. that way you buy what you need and not what you want

 that would be okay with me. I could open my changarro. My husband thinks I should splurge a little more. Oh well :D So what's going on with you? How is Esperanza doing?

I will be going to the Museum tomorrow so I will not be in here at all. Have fun and please be nice.

Benita... how are you and Alex doing?

Elvia: What were you doing up at 12? You need to get some sleep girl. I know you said you wouldn't see this but have some fun at the Museum. Talk to you later.

Everyone else: Have a great day today. I am suffering, I had to come back to work today. :crying: Again I say, I wish I were rich. It probably wouldn't make life any easier though.

Hello everyone. It has been a busy 2 days for me. SORRY I have not had a chance to get out here and really write anything.

Elvia: Alex and I are fine. Not sure if you mean financially or otherwise. It would be nice to win the lottery, but heck, you have to play first. Right now we are on a tight budget and do not require your assistance. I will let you know if we do. Hopefully he will get his work authorization within the next month or so and that will help out a bunch. (As long as he does not send it all to Mexico). Emily is doing good as well. And I guess the baby is ok. Don't hear much out of that one yet, still making mommy a little sick so that is a good sign.

Talk to you guys later.
