Hola chicas!!!!!!

Liss So who in the world is Monica??????????

Charity saving money is hard and if your man is like tacho he does like direct depositing but he does direct deposit 110 a week and that has helped us out. We dont go out to eat much but we do buy groceries that leftovers can be used for lunches or added to the next days meals! Thank God Tacho is workering overtime today first time since hes been home! that will definitely help us out right now! I have to go to the Dr monday and find out if I can get off these darn crutches.

Steph How are you and Miguel doing????

Benita how is the new baby and emily and the new appt. what else is new??? LOl....

Elvia When something like immigration or whatnot is wrong in your life it makes you feel unhappy in lots of different ways. mine frustrations mostly showed in my job cause that was almost the only place I was in Direct Contact w/ people.

Good Morning Everyone. Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. I really enjoyed being off on Friday, other than the fact that I ran around all day. Emily's 2 year checkup went well, her Doctor said she is so smart. Then we had her 2 year photos taken. Then I ran my sisters vacume back to her, after I took ours apart and found the foam letter "L" that was stuck inside. Amazing how many screws hold a vacume together.

There are not enough hours in the day. I need more hours to sleep. I was sort of caught up by Sunday morning, but I wanted a nap Sunday afternoon and never got one. I went to bed at about 11am, but by 11:30 I was up because of a severe thunderstorm. I had to turn on the TV to make sure there was no chance of a tornado because it was so windy. Not sure when I went back to sleep, but I kept waking up thoughout the night. Now I am super tired. :(

Guess this baby is fine, still making me sick. It was strange that it was not until after I had the miscarriage before Emily that I realized that the morning sickness and the tenderness in the chest had disappeared. With Emily when those symptoms went away I freaked out a bit thinking that something was wrong. Now I have to worry about that with this baby as well. So I know it sounds funny, but being sick is a relief at least I can assume that everything is ok.

OK, back to work now.

Benita: Sorry to hear you are still sick but I know what you mean about it being a good sign. I also knew, when the breast tenderness and stuff went away that something was wrong, I was right. Sorry you are still running around all the time and not getting your much needed rest. We had a great Easter. We tried to go fishing twice and both times ended up not getting very far. The first day we went the lake had been drained, the second day we went we needed gas in the car so we went to the ATM machine to get some money to buy gas and it wouldn't give us any. We put Javier's check in the bank on Tuesday and because our bank was closed on Friday it hadn't gone in. Checked this morning and it's still not in. I don't know when we will finally get some money. So anyway, we just did some things with my parents and my brother and his kids. It was fun. Didn't spend any money either. Elvia will be proud.

Elvia: Well I paid the bills online this morning even though Javier's check isn't in yet. I am hoping it shows up tomorrow before the bills come out. We still need to get groceries and gas before we know what we have left over. I think we will have a little more left than we thought we would. We still aren't spending anything extra though. We did really well this weekend. We didn't spend any money at all except for our tithes at church. We still had a great time. I actually had a better time here than if we had gone somewhere. We hung out at the house, my mom's house, and my cousin's house. We all live right here together. We grilled out both days, mom provided the food for us and my brother and his kids. It was great. So, not only are we saving money, but we are spending a lot of quality time together. Thanks for helping us with the money and in turn helping us really enjoy one another's company. :D

I am not working today or tomorrow. Sounds nice but I am stuck at home since we don't have any money. Javier is still working so it's just me and Daisy. Right now she is on the front porch barking up a storm at something, I have no idea what. Her shadow maybe.

Well I hope everyone has a great day today. I need to get some laundry done(the real kind). Talk to you all later.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Benita I would make Alex pamper you this weekend. Kind of an early Mothers day gift.

Charity... Indeed I am very proud of you. I knew you could do it. Now how is the coupon clipping going. Oh and being home is a good thing, that way you're not tempted to buy anything.

Hola chicas!!

Hope you all had a good weekend. We went to the MN Twins / NY Yankees baseball game on Saturday night and had an awesome time. We didn’t even argue about the game (he is a long time Yankees fan having lived in Brooklyn 6 yrs). So we are making progress. Ha, ha. Yesterday I stayed in my pjs and didn’t leave the house until 7pm. I don’t even know what I did. Miguel went fishing in the Mississippi River with some friends. They caught like 10 fish but you don’t eat the fish from the Mississippi….or you might grow an extra arm. Man, that river is polluted, especially the area in the city.

Benita…glad to hear everything is good with Emily and #2. You’ll have to share Emily’s photos with us when you get them. She is such a cutie.

Charity…Way to go on the money stuff! Didn’t all the immigration stuff set you back?! It is hard to get back on track, I think we’ll be done paying off our credit cards by July. That is our goal (o.k., more MY goal since Miguel doesn’t do much with finances besides hand his check over). I hope we can make it cuz that is about the time we want to buy a house and it’d be nice to not have to pay for cards when we have a mortgage. The plan looks nice on paper, but we’ll see how easy it is to execute.

Ashley…how are you doing girl?! Hope all is well with you and Tacho.

Elvia…que onda chica?! Hope you had a good weekend. What did you guys end up doing yesterday?

Melissa…hope the new job is going well.

Elvia: I forgot all about the coupons. I knew I was forgetting something. I wonder if I can still get a paper somewhere. #######! I am heading out in a little while, I will see if I can find one somewhere.

Stephanie: It is so all this immigration stuff that messed us up. We saved money before Javier left but it wasn't enough. My dad ended up paying my bills the last 3 months Javier was gone. The second trip and the last trip to Mexico all went on our credit card. Plus I was taking money from the card and sending it to Javier while he was down there, since he couldn't find a job. It was a big mess. It just seems like we can't get caught up. Hopefully, with Elvia's help, things will start looking up. I hope you all get your cards paid off. I would love to have our's paid off by July but that won't happen. The balance is just too high. I am hoping Javier will do some extra jobs soon. He is going to look at one this afternoon. Let's keep our finger's crossed.

Not too big of one. My ### can take it. I got plenty back there. Those people never cease to amaze me. It's better to just ignore them. They will never understand our point of view so it's just not worth my time. Unlike them, I have better things to do, like spend time with my family and friends. Instead of sitting on a computer all day and all night.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!
