Benita: The rest of my hair is to short for a head band. I would love to be able to do that. I think my hair stylist has something different in mind for my bangs than I do. I mentioned, the last time I was there, that I couldn't wait for them to be long enough to put behind my ear and he said something like, you "think" they are going to get that long, huh. Kinda in a smart tone. I am not exactly sure what he meant by that. I don't think they are going to get that long, I know they are. :lol:

How funny.... hola girls I just caught up on all the hare raising talk :yes:

I have been here at work today but a girl in the shelter who came in yesterday is filthy with 4 kids.... and I mean like homeless filthy and I have been with her all morning giving her an orientation and telling her that her hygine needs to be kept up. YUCK!!! and I think she also has lice but I will make sure of that tomorrow.

Stephanie. so far nothing has changed.... well except the fact that the car is still not running good so I will be playing mechanic again this weekend and I think we will be tackling the fuel pump. Now it will not be an easy task because the fuel pump is in the tank and to get to the tank and get it to where we can work on it, we will have to pull the rear seat out and do some stuff in the car :thumbs: oh joy!!! okay I will go tackle my piojosa lady now..... see ya later

Elvia: Sorry to hear you have had to deal with that today. I hope she doesn't have lice. That could be bad for the shelter. Gotta get those little buggers quick so they don't spread.

yes!!! and the bad thing about it is that we are full.... there are 9 rooms full of women and children and they would all have to get treated....

Apparently everyone else has been as busy as I have. :lol: I hope everyone is having a great Friday! Hopefully someone will be around soon to chat with me.

Elvia: Although my job doesn't include dealing with lice, it does include dealing with these smart-a kids. Sometimes I have to tell myself the same thing. Hopefully it turned out she didn't have them.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

First you need a goat. Then you need to kill it. Then you put some spices on it and put it in a hole in the ground for like 8 hours. hahahah Seriously that's how I've seen barbacoa made. :) My husband's uncle makes REALLY good barbacoa.

I'll look for a recipe and post it if I find one.

11/15 - Biometrics for I-485 and I-765 done on same day.
11/16 & 27 - Case "touched" on bcis.gov.
12/7 - EAD approval by e-mail. Card is on its way. Thank you Lord!!
12/12 - Received EAD.
1/9/06 - Applied for SSN. Received 1/17
3/30 - Got our AOS Interview notice!! Interview date 5/31
5/31/06 - Permanent residency granted! Passport stamped IR6. God is so faithful!

2/2/16 - Mailed in N-400 paperwork

2/10/16 - Received text that N-400 paperwork was received.

2/16/16 - Text that fingerprint appointment has been scheduled.

3/1/16 - Biometrics interview, Naperville, IL

3/11/16 - E-notice that case is in line for an interview

7/8/16 - Text/site updated that Interview date has been assigned

7/14/16 - Received letter dated 7/11 with interview date on 8/11
8/11/16 - Interview, given paper that said passed test but no decision can be made at this time.

10/18/16 - Received text, status online updated to say oath ceremony has been scheduled!!!!
