We had to work on our car. fun! fun! fun!

I don't know if you know anything about cars but we had to change out both of our oxygen sensors! So we took apart our dash and console in the inside of the car just to find where to connect one of the sensors and then the other one was near the engine. So after all of that the engine light is still on and my car is running lean!!! I have to cold start it for a week and then if it is still on I will have to replace some more parts. Which are not cheap!

That doesn't sound good at all. I know a little about cars but not that much. I do know what an oxygen sensor is though. I couldn't imagine trying to change one myself. Hopefully, it will fix itself and you won't have to buy new parts. It sucks when your car tears up. They are so darn expensive to fix.

Morning all!

Cars are not cheap!! That is cool you did it yourself Elvia. Working on cars is pretty liberating. I am so ready for spring to completely be here. Saturday was crappy weather and got me depressed. I told Miguel we needed to move somewhere warm and sunny year round. It is very tempting about this time of year.

Did you all check out the march in LA?! Wasn’t that fricken awesome. I am crossing my fingers that a good humane law comes out. Some of the proposals are so damn draconian. I just can’t believe it.

Back to work I go.

Yes Stephanie! very liberating indeed. Oh and about moving... come to Texas!! It is always warm here. We either have summer or spring weather the rest of the seasons vanished.

Lonely from I2US posted that she was there... she stated it was awesome. So how have you been?

Overall I am good but I think a few wires might be crossed in my brain. Nothing serious...a little sun will fix it right away. Oh and 1 million dollars.

Stephanie: We all have some wires crossed in our brains. I feel that way sometimes too. So how is your weather supposed to be this week. Ours is supposed to be warming up by the end of the week. It's actually pretty outside right now. By Friday it is supposed to be around 60 but it is supposed to rain also. At least it won't be snow. It snowed all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. There isn't anything still on the ground but just to have snow all weekend is a bummer. I can't wait for the sun and warm weather.

Cars, don't ya just love em----NOT.

Alex is not very mechanical, but if I can take a part out then I can replace it. He tries to help, but is mostly the muscle behind getting stuff done. I have replaced a radiator, a alternator, the drive accessory belt, batteries of course and many tires. My dad (a mechanic) made me change my first tire before I was allowed to drive a car.

Benita: That's awesome. Javier is pretty mechanical. He can at least figure out what is wrong with it. He isn't always able to fix it the greatest way, mostly because he gets annoyed if it doesn't work just right. He usually ends up breaking some little piece or something like that. He just put a new mirror on his truck on the drivers side. He broke the little piece that clipped the mirror on. He ended up gluing it on. He just gets in a hurry I guess. At least I am not worried about going somewhere with him. My ex couldn't have changed the oil in a car, much less fix anything else.

I have heard of that. I am not sure what you do to take care of that. I could ask around, do some research for you if you like. Javier and I have this little joke. He says, you think you know, and I say, I don't think I know, I know I know. The other day we were some where and I told him something and it was wrong. I told him to write it down because it might not happen again. I think it's pretty funny, he doesn't find it nearly as amusing as me. I don't know if Raul is this way or not, does he like to think he is the "boss" of the house. Javier does, so I always give him a hard time about that too. If I make a decision about something, not to big, without asking him, he says, who told you that was okay. I say, the boss did. He says, I didn't say it was okay, to which I say, no I did because I am the boss. He doesn't like that very much at all. I like to give him a hard time.

Elvia: I found this. I don't know if it will help or not.

If, after an arrested person has signed and received a copy of a notice to appear, the arresting officer or other officer of the issuing agency, determines that, in the interest of justice, the citation or notice should be dismissed, the arresting agency may recommend, in writing, to the magistrate or judge that the case be dismissed. The recommendation shall cite the reasons for the recommendation and be filed with the court.

If the magistrate or judge makes a finding that there are grounds for dismissal, the finding shall be entered on the record and the infraction or misdemeanor dismissed.

Sounds like she has to get someone to dismiss it. You may have known this already. I don't know how far into researching it you have gotten.

Okay, I just need one more post. Where did everyone go?
