The problem is we watch it all the time. I can't understand them so I just tune it out. I only pay attention if it is something that I am interested in. Then I am asking Javier to tell me what they said. It's just a big mess. I really feel like I am stupid. I mean, not trying to make myself look good, but I am an intelligent person. I see, again not trying to be ugly or anything, less intelligent people speaking spanish. I wonder what my problem is. Why can't I get it? I really think there is something in my brain that prevents me from being able to speak spanish.

Copycat! :hehe: Actually I don't mind at all. I had the ticker for Javier coming home and I felt a little bare after he got here without one. We have lots of things happening these couple of months so I thought I would make me some tickers. I was going to make the one for our anniversary after my birthday but I would have only had it for a few days and then it would have been over. After our anniversary I will be tickerless again. :crying: By the way, it doesn't count the actual day as a day so that is why Javier's was off on his birthday. Mine is off too, as is our anniversary one. :luv:

I didn't know it was that soon till your anniversary. Do you have any special plans for it or Emily's second birthday?

We are not planning anything. I guess we will go out to dinner, but nothing special.

Not sure about Emily's birthday, probably just dinner with family.

That sounds good. We didn't really do anything extra special for our anniversary last year. We went to Bike week in Myrtle Beach with my mom and dad. We probably won't do anything this year unless we go on a long weekend trip somewhere. My parents and my brother's family are going to Disney in July and they want us to go with them. I guess we are going to try and do that. Only if Javier finds some extra work to do. That will probably be our anniversary present to each other.

I can't believe it is still snowing there. It's supposed to ice here on Monday. I would rather have snow. We have flowers coming up already and now they are going to be zapped by the ice. I hope it doesn't kill everything. What a mess! So how many inches of snow do you have all together?

Thank goodness no snow here. Although we can not rule out it happening again before spring. Sometimes we get snow on Easter and even in May with the Kentucky Derby.

Elvia: Sounds like a rip off. I would require documentation before I would pay a bill like that.

By the way I am fine, Alex is much better, but his face is swollen, looks like he got into a boxing match. I hopt that goes away before Tuesday. We got the letter for his USCIS biometrics and it says to make sure you don't have open wounds, bandages or casts when you appear or it may be rescheduled. I guess I have to take it easy on him until after Tuesday.

Charity: Still no plans for the anniversary. Wish I was rich. Then it would be easy to make plans.

Benita: Yeah right. I say the same thing. I don't know why I wasn't blessed in the money dept. Javier tells me one day we will be rich. If it's up to him we will be. He hates not having money to do anything with. I told him we would be if it weren't for all this immigration stuff.

Elvia: I can't believe they wanted to charge you that much just for your records. What a crock. Javier and I are fine. His dad came over last night with supper and beer. It was pretty good. Plus he gave Javier $50. He has been wanting some Nike Shock tennis shoes so I told him to keep the money so he could put it toward that. They are about $100. I know him, he would have wanted to pay a bill with it and I don't think he should use his birthday money for that. So anyway, Javier had 3 beers and some red wine. I was afraid he was going to be sick but he wasn't. Thank goodness because I so did not want to have to clean that up. ICK!! I think we are going to go out on Friday or Saturday so that should be nice.

Yeah…boots. Hmmmm. I really don’t like them much because then you need to bring other shoes with you. Some things just seem too difficult. However that would combat the wet sock issue I am currently dealing with.

On Sunday/Monday it snowed 10.5 inches and last night/today it snowed/is snowing about 5. But since it is spring some of that 10.5 from before has melted, thankfully. It is the real light and fluffy stuff and I feel bad for the trees…all their branches are sagging. They need a ####### lift.

Benita…that is crazy about Alex. I hope he feels better and the swelling goes down by Tuesday. Good luck at that appt. What exactly happens at that appointment? Is it a medical exam?

o.k. chicas. Have a great day.

Oh and Eliva….that is crazy they charged you AT ALL. You are the patient and should be able to get copies of your records for free. Before paying anything, you might want to check into what their policy is about record release. I know at my job we order a lot of medical records all the time and we have to pay but often the client gets their own records and it is free. I am sure it is different from state to state and clinic to clinic but definitely don’t pay no stinking $191.

He just has to have more fingerprinting and photos done. That is all. Seems like everytime you turn around they want something.

Benita: What do they not have enough of his fingerprints and pictures? For heaven's sake can't these depts. coordinate and exchange fingerprint records and photos. I have said all along, immigration is nothing but a money making scheme for the government. The more we continue on this journey, the more I believe it to be true. I hope Alex's tooth is better in time. I would hate for him to have to reschedule for that.

Little joke, just one of those that gives you a little HA HA. Not a roll in the floor kind.

A nice, calm and respectable lady went into the pharmacy, right up to the

pharmacist, looked straight into his eyes, and said, "I would like to buy

some cyanide."

The pharmacist asked, "Why in the world do you need cyanide?"

The lady replied, "I need it to poison my husband."

The pharmacist's eyes got big and he exclaimed, "Lord have mercy! I can't

give you cyanide to kill your husband! That's against the law! I'll lose my

license! They'll throw both of us in jail! All kinds of bad things will

happen. Absolutely not! You CANNOT have any cyanide!"

The lady reached into her purse and pulled out a picture of her husband in

bed with the pharmacist's wife.

The pharmacist looked at the picture and replied, "Well now. That's

different. You didn't tell me you had a prescription."
