Yea, it's Puebla City, Puebla. Just like New York, New York. I have been there. It is really nice. I would love to go back again when we have more time. Huauchinango is about 2 hours away from Puebla City. We took a day while we were down there and went site seeing. I really enjoyed being in the city but we didn't know where we were going so we didn't get to see much. I would like to go back again and really take the time to look around. It seemed like there were lots of things to look at there. Have fun at cheerleading practice.

OK...Just so you know between 7am and 8am I have no life. I should be working on catching things up, but instead I was drawing the layout of our apartment. I think it turned out pretty good. As you can tell, if we buy another stick of furniture it is going to burst at the seams.

Is anyone else bored????

I am waiting until 8:30 to call and schedule Alex to get to the doctor today. I got to daycare yesterday and Emily had a rash all over. When I took her to the doctor they tested her and she has strep throat. :( Alex has been compaining about his throat being sore since Sunday, (I thought he was just being a baby). I figure I better get him tested and on some antibiotics if he has strep. They say it can move to your heart that you can get rumatic fever. I need to keep him around a long time so we are getting him into the dr. today.

Benita: I think you are right. I don't think you could ever get another piece of furniture in there. You sound like me in your work habits. I have some really important things I keep putting off. I should really be doing that right now instead of this but you see where I am. I am such a procrastinator. I hope Alex is okay. I thought Javier and I had strep throat when we got back from Mexico. Turned out it wasn't but I didn't want us to be sick and not know we had it either. It can go to your heart and really mess you up. I know a boy that actually had that happen to him. It was really bad.

Benita, how in the world did you do such a nice detailed drawing? It looks nice! Wow, you guys have quite a tight fit. How old is Emily now? Surely, she will be ready for her big girl bed soon. Will you guys move into a two bedroom at that point or are you considering a house? BTW, I like your layout. Seems very efficient.

Charity, I told my mom about your suggested layout and she's freaked out at the idea of having the bed right next to the kitchen. I don't know why. I'll have to take her over there and show her how it's all going to work.

It sure would be nice to spread out a bit. Emily is going to be 2 at the end of March and yes I would love for her to have her own room. We plan to move to a 2 bedroom townhouse after Alex gets to work. Then we would start to save for a down payment on a house.

Melissa - I did the drawing on Photodraw, but I bet I could have done it with paintbrush as well. It has all those little drawing tools, plus you can make text boxes, which is what I used to type the description of the items in the apartment. Maybe I will take some actual photos so you can see as well. I have a hanging divider between our bed and Emily's bed - it gives privacy for when we are doing the laundry  (not that it matters, because she sleeps like a log, she wouldn't wake up if a freight train went through the apartment).

Melissa: Does your mom think the bed bugs will crawl out of your bed and around the corner into the kitchen?:lol: If there wasn't a wall there I would be the same way but since there is a wall it really isn't next to the kitchen. I mean it is but it isn't.

Benita: I was wondering the same thing about how you did the layout. Javier has a job to do and he needs me to draw a floor plan for the inspector. I learned how to draw house plans when I was in landscaping but I haven't done it in a while. I learned how to do them on graph paper. I did the house plans for our house and the inspector accepted them. I guess I can still do it that way. I just thought it might be easier to do them on the computer. That way I wouldn't have to figure out the scale and everything.

Charity - You can get drafting programs, but if the scale does not have to be perfect then you can use paintbrush.

I guess if we are submitting it to the inspector it should be pretty much to scale. I will probably just by some graph paper and try to draw it out myself tonight. It's just a small square room so it shouldn't be that hard. I hope.

Sad to report no moving at lunchtime for me. We are having a lunch for an employee who is leaving. So I have to stick around. Good thing is I get a free lunch.

Melissa: That is a good deal, I guess. Depends on if they are having anything you will eat. I am going to try and talk mom into going to Applebee's. I have a hankering for a Grilled Oriental Chicken Salad. Man they are the best.

I just wanted to add..I had a sore throat for a week. I went to the doctor and they did a strep test and mono spot. Both were negative so I was obviously told it was a virus. Then a day later the rash came. It started on my face and went everywhere. By the next day, my throat was so sore I could barely swallow. I had white patches on my tonsils. So we went to the ER. They did a strep test and mono again and this time it came back I had infected tonsils and scarlet fever. So I got meds and a stern warning to sue my doctor! :) It took me over two weeks to feel back to normal. I just wanted to let you know that in case they are still feeling bad and you ever get a negative strep test. :)

I hope they feel better soon!

MistyB: Funny you should say that. Our strep test's came back negative. My doctor had the good sense to give us an antibiotic anyway. We took it for the entire time she said to. Javier got better in just a couple of days but it took me a little longer. My throat is actually getting a little scratchy again. I hope it is just this crazy weather we have been having. I can't afford another doctors visit and antibiotic.

My throat has been hurting over the past couple of days also. I had thought I was getting sick (that's usually my first indication) but so far I've been ok. Hopefully it's not a throat thing. I don't want to deal with a doctor right now.

By the way, the feeling that I had about today being the day for the Advisory Opinion is pretty much gone. I haven't seen anymore signs or anything so I'll bet I was wrong about it being today.

Someone here said that a lot of people flying these days are getting strep. So maybe that is were everyone picked up their illness.

Alex goes to the doctor at 2pm, I will let you know.

On another note.....it is funny how when someone mentions something that you turn around and.... OK I will just tell you what happened. About 30 minutes ago I get a phone call from my landlord. She said there is going to be a 2 bedroom available (all on the same floor). Most of the townhouses with 2 bedrooms have a bedroom upstairs (the master) and another down. I did not want Emily to be downstairs just in case someone were to break in. So I called Alex and now we are thinking of moving into this one. We just need to go see it when she gets it ready to rent. The only problem is this immigration paperwork. I guess we will have to file the paperwork when you move. Has anyone had to do that yet?? What about you Melissa??
