CHARITY!!!! Can't find a Walmart! Or a Target! Nothing is close to here. I think I'm going to have to go to...the mall. Well, one of the department stores at the mall...using the department store entrance NOT the mall entrance.

Put you some band aids across the ninny's so they won't attract to much attention. I can't believe in your big city up there you aren't close to a Walmart or Target. I would be running to the mall. OOPS! Scratch that, you probably don't want to be running at this point.:lol:

Valentine's Day is special for us too. It's the day we started dating and the day we got engaged. That's why we do it up really good.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Closest Walmart and Target are 5-10 miles away. Don't have enough time at lunch to go there-too much traffic. So I will go to the mall which is only about 3-4 miles away. I think they have a JC Penney. And no, there will be absolutely NO running.

Oh, by the way, the power came back on at home! I just called Kyle and he said it came on about an hour ago! I'm happy, but yet sad that my room service dreams have now been shot down.

Reasons to celebrate (by celebrate I mean do the laundry).

1. Laundry is a beauty treatment. Scientific tests find that when women do laundry they produce amounts of the hormone estrogen, which makes hair shine and skin smooth.

2. Gentle, relaxed laundry reduces your chances of suffering dermatitis, skin rashes and blemishes. The sweat produced cleanses the pores and makes your skin glow.

3. Laundry can burn up those calories you piled on during that romantic dinner.

4. Laundry is one of the safest sports you can take up. It stretches and tones up just about every muscle in the body. It's more enjoyable than swimming 20 laps, and you don't need special sneakers!

5. Laundry is an instant cure for mild depression. It releases endorphins into the bloodstream, producing a sense of euphoria and leaving you with a feeling of well-being.

6. The more laundry you have, the more you will be offered. The active body gives off greater quantities of chemicals called pheromones. These subtle laundry perfumes drive the opposite sex crazy!

7. Laundry is the safest tranquilizer in the world. IT is 10 times more effective than Valium.

8. Kissing each day will keep the dentist away. Kissing encourages saliva to wash food from the teeth and lowers the level of the acid that causes decay, preventing plaque build-up.

9. Laundry actually relieves headaches. A laundry session can release the tension that restricts blood vessels in the brain.

10. A lot of laundry can unblock a stuffy nose. Laundry is a natural antihistamine. It can help combat asthma and hay fever.

Gee, must be nice to just decide, "Well, I'm going to do more laundry now!" While you're at it, why don't you decide, "Well, I'm going to be more productive at work now!"

Laundry makes people happy. Can we get a big "Duh!" for that one, please? Why does it make people happy? Because it's something you have to do.

And so, we get yet another in the long list of Studies That Tell Us Stuff We Already Know. Thanks ever so, Homeskillets Congress of Laundry.
