Well girls, it looks like everything was lost. They must have had a problem with the restore of the server. Guess Charity is in CDJ now, doing laundry no doubt.

I leave on Tuesday so I will be getting some laundry done this week. The only bad thing is I have to leave Emily. I just think it would be too hard on both of us. Me to get everything ready and try to wrangle a 22 month old in all the different airports. Plus on Emily having to leave some place that she is familiar with and having to travel so long without much entertainment.

She will have to wait for her first airplane ride when she is older and we go back to visit Mexico.

Well I just came in here to see if I could get a little more work done before I have to leave Tuesday. I will write again on Monday.

Later,

Benita

After seeing all the children at the consulate when we went .it's better she stayed heer.Poor kids were terribly fussy and tired after being there all day.But just think you'll probably be bringing daddy home.!!

I wish I were bringing daddy home too.. :(

I on the other hand don't know what to do.My lawyer says that if I go for the 130 that it will probably be another 6-9 months for an interview for that and since we already interviewed for 129 that hubby could come home and adjust status here.

The 130 IS already at CDJ and they are waiting for the $$$ to begin setting up an interview date.

Its all so confusing.Because I thoyght that once 130 got to CDJ ,it would automatically override the 129 but I don't know.Anyway have a safe trip and enojoy being with hubby.

I am sure you'll find lots to catch up on!:blush: God Bless.

Hey all....

We just got back from Colorado visiting the family...it was an awesome trip. And when we arrived, his social security card was in the mail! Crazy huh! It was mailed from Baltimore (headquarters) 3 days after we applied for it. So yeah...tomorrow he will be out job hunting. Perfect timing.

Charity...good luck with everything tomorrow...hopefully Javier won't be inside the consulate too long.

Benita....only a few more days until you are off! YEAH. Just think by this time next week everything will be complete.

o.k. take care all... ;)

Good Monday Morning Chicas!!

Melisa: Have you heard from Charity, she told me that she was going to keep in contact with you on the cell phone. I hope that she can convince them to let her into the consulate today. I know she will be very disappointed if they do not. I imagine that she could argue that in reality it is HER consulate, since she is the US citizen. How can they keep an American out of the US consulate????

Anyway, I am so excited about going. :D I will be headed to Nashville sometime around 1 or 2AM. Marta I agree, I don't want Emily to be miserable so she is going to stay here. I hope she doesn't think that I am not coming back as well. :(

Hopefully Charity bought her dad a bottle of tequila and got down to business.

I am glad you got the gc already.I am still up in the air with this stuff.Since my 130 is already at cdj I don't know why my att.said we should just adj.stst.here.But I guess we will see when we go to cdj again once we hear anything on our waiver. If I can pay the fees($450.00)there at cdj we will probably do that ONLY if my hubby can come home with me then and not have to wait another 6-9 months.

Good morning everyone. I have talked to Charity a few times and I know that right now she will be outside the Consulate waiting to get inside. Of course she couldn't take her cell phone with her. They're supposed to get in at 9, which is like a half hour from now. I'll wait until 11:30 here (about an hour from now) and if I don't hear from her, I'll assume she got in. When I talked to her last night, they were having a good time-had visited the malls and some little market place. They were in the room watching golf  So I'll post later if I hear anything. Hope everyone has a great day!
