I am not tired of you, what are you talking about? I am merely making suggestions for you to get the instructions. Someone made the suggestions to get in touch with "Ara" who filed a K3, did you ask her? Did you check the K3 discussion forum, which may help also?

One Love,

I have talked to you numerous times. Please listen to what we say we know as we have been through this. Your husband needs to have everything completed before his interview date. I had told you to tell your husband to go pick up the packets from the embassy with the I-129F approval letter and the NVC letter and he would have got his packet and his interview date at the same time. I am really not sure how you get the interview date if the packets are mailed but he should go to the Lagos Embassy and make an inquiry because they make the interview dates for K3. So I don't know about that as my husband went and picked up his packets but he will take everything from packet 3 with him to the interview you or him need to get in touch with Lagos embassy to get your date maybe someone else will help me out here whose husband disn't go get their packets from the embassy and waited for them to be mailed.

You have my email I told you I would answer any questions you may have the best of my ability and I still want to help just let me know.

Good Luck

The Guides are very general they are there to give you a general idea of the process; they are not to be taken as applicable to every situation or consulate. So most the advice you are getting is from people who have went through the Lagos Consulate and is specific to that consulate. We have been through or are going through the process and most here are very knowledgeable. I remember when Ara came into the forum and here she is reunited with her husband, by doing the exact same thing she is advising you to do. People in this forum are very helpful, and as you have seen will answer any and all of your questions. However, part of the journey and deciding to forego a lawyer requires studying the process. We all walked, stumbled and ran into VJ usually from doing research on the K visa and we landed here. The same research you did to find VJ must be continued as the journey unfolds. The search is there to help you look for information and or read post from the past specific to the search criteria used. Use the search engine and search words for different scenarios and read the post in Sub-Saharan as well as other regions and try to learn the over-all process.

To my knowledge know one here gets paid for learning any of the immigration rules and regulations. They have chosen to learn to better understand the process to assist their loved ones in the immigration process. In all honesty VJ and the act researching the immigration process is usually highly addictive; learning all of this tedious gives a person a scene of control in a process where a person has limited control. Sad to say I have spent more time studying post on

Vj than on studying for my MBA and that is bad on my part, but like most here I want to get every aspect I can control right the first time, so I continue to feed the addiction.

Your situation reminds me of the passage about giving a man a fish versus teaching him how to fish. The kind people here can give you an answer to every question you come up with (VJers giving you a fish). Take control of you and your husband’s case research, learn and absorb any and all information that will assist you to be reunited. Most every question you have regarding the K3 process; the answer probably lies in a current or old post somewhere within this forum (VJ teaching you how to fish). Once you have studied the information available to all of us and you still have questions, need clarification and or cannot find particular answers that suit your needs. Then ask questions.

My fiancé was told they mailed his interview package so he should wait. But if your husband wants to pick it up, it should not matter the date is in the system and the only paper that is specific to him is the title page that has the date of interview the other papers are standard forms. It is nothing for them to go in the system and re-print the title page. Just so you know my then fiancé’s package never arrived. INFORM YOUR HUSBAND TO GO TO EMBASSY, be persuasive and have a few Niara for dash.

Just my humble opinion… I know I can be extremely blunt, I hope my words did not come across to harsh, my intention is only to assist you with this process.

GOOD LUCK

Destiny

Naturalization

7/14 Mailed Packet

7/19 NOA

8/14 Biometrics

8/17 In line for Interview
