Weird things about the UK:

Morris Dancers

Bog Snorkelling championships

Singing at sporting events (not all of it, but for example why do notts county fans sing "i had a wheelbarrow, the wheel fell off" to the tune of On Top of Old Smokey? why do they sing swing low, sweet chariot at rugby?)

Marmite

Putting horrible baked beans on everything

Pearly Kings and Queens

I'm sure I'll think of more stuff -- but I have to agree on the tuna and mayo jacket potatoes -- that is just wrong

horse flesh eating...no more but when i was in almaty...the first couple of nights there..we dined on meat..i thought it was a sheep..but nope a horse..

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
