He thinks it's very strange that I put ketchup on my pizza...... and that I LOVE french fries with ice cream (both from mc donalds). :P

And I was always afraid of sleeping in the dark, so it was really strange when I found out he just didn't like any kind of light in the room when he wanted to sleep!!! The good thing was that I wasn't afraid anymore because then I had him....... so the monsters couldn't get me ;):P

I love to dip my french fries in chocolate milkshakes/Wendy's Frostys. All of my friends both here in Canada and from when I lived in Texas think this is the strangest thing ever. So, imagine my surprise when I found out Brian does the same thing! I mean, if that isn't a sign of our being meant for eachother, I don't know what is

Ewww! I think I would starve if I lived in some of these countries. :P

I can't really think of anything between Darcy and I. Maybe just the terminology and as Buttons put it today in chat the street lights are different. Seems corny but I actually prefer the Canadian way over the US way.

along the lines of the other slang...we will see/hear wanker on TV here on quite a few shows lately,or I will say it(because to me, of course, it's nothing..never heard of it before Craig) and he will look at me or the TV like WHAT did you/that just say???

I agree on the roundabouts..they are a cool thing but made me sick to my stomach too!!! and in the cities..all the pulling off to the side to let someone go all the time instead of just being able to drive...I loved that you can walk so many places tho and that there are so many shops everywhere!! :) M.

She found out about the mayo on fries thing

For me being allowed to turn right through a red light wasn't new as I knew about that from previous travel to the USA but it still seemed a bit weird.

okay... when I went to visit Jamal in Morocco... it could get really cold at night... there was a HUGE fireplace in the living room... and I requested a fire with wood... when he came back from the market... he had COAL... to start a fire... that was new for me...

and i love how he gets his phrases mixed up... that's cute!

He thinks it's very strange that I put ketchup on my pizza......

Exactly what I said before. He said "Pizza has tomato sauce, why do you put ketchup on it?" and every single time he ate pizza at my house and everyone went around passing the ketchup he'd find bizarre. And then I'd stare at him and find it awful that he'd take avocatos and slice them up to eat with his rice and beef.

The same way that everyone uses avocatos with salt to make guacamole and salads, brazilians actually like to put sugar in their avocatos and eat as a dessert, so I'd find it odd that he'd eat avocato and rice.

the weirdest thing about my hubby??

his aversion to vegetables, and his complete ignoring expiration dates on food. I found stuff in his cupboards that had expired 2 years ago :o

the weirdest thing about his country?

presidential elections. You can sit and try to explain it to me until you are blue in the face, but I won't ever understand the electoral college!

the weirdest thing about Oklahoma?

how people are obsessed with Ranch salad dressing. Dipping their pizza in it and everything. Yuck.
