Just wanted to add that Kiya should be named an honorary member of MENA forum for her outstanding contribution to others who were going thru the visa denial process - she is AWESOME and I'm so happy to find out that her fight is over!!!

D.

OMG abso frickin lutely !!!!!!111111111 Thank you !!!

Kiya has given so much of her time and effort here, even with her hands full with her own case, to support others who experienced the same ordeal. She has shared an incredible amount of research and knowledge and experience -- she has been a real-life angel to so many people. It is thanks to her hard work and amazingly generous heart that we have gathered such an excellent source for reliable information on what to do about a returned case.

On behalf of all of MENA -- as we congratulate you on your victory at last -- we want to thank you, Kiya, from the bottom of our hearts -- for everything you've done for us !

Please wish your husband a safe and comfortable trip to the U.S., and a warm MENA Welcome to America ! When is he coming ????????

May you be blessed with a wonderful reunion and all the happiness in life together (L)

Hear, hear! I remember Kiya was fighting for that visa when we were just starting to file. They need to come up with a more excited smiley than the dancing one, just in Kiya's honor.:dance::dance::dance::dance:

Can I get a WOOOOOOOT?!?! Congrats Kiya. Best wishes for a long and happy life together, from Ahmed and I. If anyone deserves the sweet life, its you. (F)

Shukran bezaaf!...I have to say I was so surprised to log on and see the responses to WOM's post, really brought tears to my eyes.

It has been a really long and hard 3 years I have made many friends, my husband and I both have. I've seen many couples go through what we have been through, many already reunited and some not...YET. I'm certainly not disappearing completely...even though I don't really post much, I do read and I do still speak to others in need of information that can help.

I spent yesterday feeling a whirlwind of emotions all at one time, I ended up passing out around 11:00, I was so numb at that point and I don't think I moved one inch after falling asleep, but it's hitting me...our lives are about to change, really change. We've been patient, waiting for so long, I just pray my husband's journey and adjustment here is as smooth as possible. My family is so supportive, they want to provide anything they can to help him adjust to a new country, a new family, a new life. I know that's not going to be easy but I am so ready for that challenge. LOL...after 3 years they really want to see his face in person!!!

There are many out there still waiting for resolution of their returned cases, stuck in what seems to be a never-ending security check state-side before their cases are even reviewed. I know many do not make it through this process, for many different reasons. Hold steadfast...I pray that everyone waiting, everyone facing a hard long journey that you know there is hope, where there is a will there is a way. By the grace of God, if you truly want to be together, you really can...against many different odds, there really is hope. Faith, patience, perseverance, true love for each other, and a dire need to live your lives together can really see you through it all. Look at us...3 years and we're finally going to be reunited, ALHAMDULILLAH!!

Thank you again for all the support, everyone's replies have really touched my heart. All my prayers are with everyone waiting to be reunited...may you find strength and inspiration to get through one day at a time.

Kiya,

I am so very happy for you and your husband. :)

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.
