I can't sweat the small stuff and my granny always told me "anything you can't do nuthin' 'bout, hellaway wid it!" so to hell it can go.

my sun still rises and sets and I pray his does too.

but good saturday to you all and I might just go to church tomorrow just to get back to my middle (ground).

take care.

Sorry you feeling blue today. Take it to God......talk to the waymaker. He is the prince of peace. (F)

Have a good Sunday.

Better late than never.

Hey Sis. How's life? Did you go to church today?

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

It has been forever when I learned how and I also crochet a cap for my new baby boy grandson who is baking in the oven. Add to that the scrap booking and cleaning the house you would think I am Betty Crocker or something. Man, all that used to bore me to death and here I am.

I can't believe it myself. I am the kind of person that would rather be in the peace corps on a humanitarian mission than this stuff.

Maybe something is in the air or I am being tamed by aliens

This will be a very busy spring.

Knitting a scarf for him makes me feel close to him

Chispas sounds very peaceful ....hope you have a nice time.

On Saturday my plans include hanging out with my brides maids and checking out wedding halls, and picking out a shade of fabric for their dresses.... :bonk:

The sad part is I'm kind of looking forward to it  ........but not really  .

That sounds exciting, what kind of fabric ? What kind of dresses are you thinking of getting ?

Awe thanks Omoba

The bride-maids will have two dresses one in western fabric (something that flows and sways July wedding) designed in a native style probably a 2 piece for the ceremony and the first set of pictures, and then we will all change into native traditional attire during the reception for the dancing and spraying.

Yeah it is kind of exciting. My wedding dress is being sewn in Ghana and all of our traditional attire is coming from a Nigerian tailor in London.

Hey We_Destiny, we are also doing the same thing at our wedding this year. Everyone will wear American style attire at the ceremony and then we will change into Liberian attire (head ties and everything) at the reception. It will be a two-piece outfit with part of the back showing. I'm really excited, but it is completely stressful, especially when all of our stuff (including the bridesmaids and groomsmen) is happening overseas, so it's been involving a LOT of work. I can't wait to see all of our ideas finally come together.
