Good Morning. We received NOA for AOS, EAD and AP yesterday. I think they were dated 8-29-08, now I'm not certain, but almost certain. I'm happy. We also received his biometrics appt. Maybe I can schedule a couple other appts that day so I'll just stay home from work since he doesn't have his driver's license yet.

EAD Card production ordered: 11-12-2008 changed to 11/17/2008 Why? (I hope it doesn't change every week!)

Received AP: 11/17/2008

Received EAD: 11/22/08 (Praise God!!)

AOS RFE: 1/29/2009

AOS Approved: 3/24/2009

Called USCIS 4/1/2009 told no status change and case not yet reviewed from RFE request.

Received green card: 4/3/2009

Still interviewing lawyers to find the right one. One of them just about made me go over the edge ! What a jerk.

Omoba, I am so sorry that this journey has been so up-and-down for you. I hope it won't be another whole year for you.

Your guy is blessed with a really good woman, and I'm sure he already knows that. Just as I'm sure that you are blessed with a really good man.

With that combination, you just can't lose. I pray that something spectacluar happens which will hasten the pace, and that you two are together before much more time passes. Amen and Amen!

Thank you for the kind words Stevi ! I am hoping for a shorter waiting time somehow some way. The time frame where the waiver will be adjudicated runs 9-12 months and then after that the case goes back to the embassy where we wait for a 3. interview

appointment.

It is all in Gods hands and I trust that whatever God decides is best for us.
