Ramadan Mubarak! Happy Ramadan to all our muslim brothers and sisters!!

Bassi has begun fasting and found it to be a bit harder here than at home. The time difference kicks butt!! But he's adjusting. I surprised him with dates and he was so excited. It's so nice to see him happy. I mean like I did something that made him feel so happy. I feel the same way when I make my baby girl happy. But it doesn't take much with her, since she's six. I know it's all down hill from here.

Requested EAD Expedite: 11-12-2008

EAD Card production ordered: 11-12-2008 changed to 11/17/2008 Why? (I hope it doesn't change every week!)

Received AP: 11/17/2008

Received EAD: 11/22/08 (Praise God!!)

AOS RFE: 1/29/2009

AOS Approved: 3/24/2009

Called USCIS 4/1/2009 told no status change and case not yet reviewed from RFE request.

Received green card: 4/3/2009

Traditionallly Muslims break their fast with dates and water, then they go and pray and then come back to really dig in. I am not a big fan of the dates here (spoiled from my days in Saudi :blush: ) and my hubby does not ask, so I did not bother.
