Evening my pepoooooo (Liberian style, lol). I'm about to head out to the park, but I was just checking in to see how everyone is doing. Nagi, your special prayer has already been said. :)

Thank you so much, A M ....I really appreciate it!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Heyyy woman! :star: I (L) you. I took my finals today and I'm not really excited by my performance. I'm praying that I did well enough during the rest of the semester that these finals won't put a dent in my overall grades. *sigh* I'm worried.

Morning everyone. I couldn't sleep and was up until 5:30 am. Uno its your fault, it must be contagious.

Yea, Bassi caught it and was awake all night. Turns out he hasn't slept in three nights. Gonna head to the pharmacy and find him something cause he's gonna drive me crazy

Figured out my problems too.....checked my blood sugar today (which I haven't done in about a month even though I'm a diabetic) and it was 209. Ta Da!! There goes the source of my "issues" right there. So, gotta get on that asap so I can get back to my normal self and soon.

Ohmygosh, Mrs. Bassi.....209??!! Please try to get that down, but you know nerves and stress can push up that blood sugar level, too, along with infection.

What's up with SO's saying they have a fever ? I am thinking infection of course and then he says it comes from the cold outside ( 73 - 74 at night )

I have heard other Africans describe it as fever but meaning a cold or just not feeling well, under the weather, but who else here has a SO saying it is a

fever when not hot , no temp.....well geez no thermometer there to confirm, I will have to send him one to make sure.

I was just wondering if someone can shed some light on this fever expression.

..since we are on ailments at the moment here........... :)
