Wow. That sounds challenging. My son is working as an autism specialist para while in college. He says one of the best things about working with his students is that they are transparent in character. He never has to guess what they are thinking once you learn their personalities. With the increasing rate of autism in the US, I say that you are in high demand. I have the high school students who know more than I do and aren't afraid to tell me that they know more than me. :girlwerewolf2xn: If the recertification weren't so lengthy, I would have switched to Special Ed years ago. Just to add, I just spoke to my daughter who said she was not able to see the wedding ceremony because the pastor ordered the door locked at 2pm on the dot. They got there around 2:02pm! I would have been hot had I flewn 3,000 miles and not gotten to go in the church.

That's cool that your son is getting this kind of experience now.

I would be pissed about the door closing too. He could have at least given them 15 minutes!!!

My daughter is a speech pathologist and works with children with autism. She has a very special touch with these children and loves her work. When she had her bridal shower, it was held in a restaurant run by young adults with autism, cooks, waiters etc.

It was one of my best experiences with a catered event.

Good Morning!

Rain and gray skies here. :( I'm off to church soon. That should brighten the day.

our isp has a limit on how much you can download in a 24 hour period - someone  exceeded that amount friday night so our connection was slowed down because we went way past the limit, the slowdown is for 24 hours and we're then on a speed slower than a dialup modem.
