Pictures - Naples (Italy) Consulate

Hi....I am having my interview on feb 23 and I am checking to be sure I've got all the documents I need.... and they told me I need 4 pictures, but the instructions they sent us are very old (sept 2002) and still have the pictures with the showing right side of the face....To my knowledge, immigration has changed those kind of pictures to normal passport-size pictures....which begs the question... Do I need a normal FRONTAL picture (as we call them "formato tessera") or the old kind? Also, I am confused on this point....how many pictures do I need? Sometimes they say 4, sometimes they say 8.......Someone help me please!!!!!

Yes, the Naples packet is pretty outdated, isn't it? It would be laughable if it didn't cause us to second-guess ourselves so much. ...

I don't have a definitive answer, since my husband hasn't sat for his interview. But he did get full-frontal photos taken before ever receiving packet 4, and will be going to Naples tomorrow with those in hand. I guess I could have counseled him to print out a copy of the USCIS new guidelines in case he's questioned, but for some reason, I don't think that will be necessary.

As for the number of pics, packet 3 counseled the applicant to bring 2 pics, and packet 4 said to bring 4 pics, so he just got 6 done. I haven't heard about bringing 8 . Gosh, what a crazy outfit Naples runs!

Well, my husband was just approved for his K3 visa this morning, and he submitted the full frontal pics. So I say go for it! His phone died before I was able to ask how many he used, but I'll email you later with more details.
