hi guys, i was approved on 1/10/08 , i checked my mail box last night...guess what...i found my GC woohoo....approval notice was sent on 14th, i got yesterday 17th..it took a week....i m so gladdddd..wish u all good luck..and thanks for your help guys... :D

Wow that was fast.... we filed in Aug 07 at VSC and we have no hope of a transfer so we are stuck waiting... hard when we see other who filed after us get approved... but Congrats anyways..

If you think it's hard to see someone who filed at a different service center a month after you get approved, imagine how hard it is to see someone who filed at the SAME service center FIVE MONTHS after you get approved! (And in the cases of some other folks, seven months after they filed at TSC.)

I would be HAP-HAP-HAP-HAPPY indeed to have filed at VSC because that would have meant receiving the permanent card three months ago.

So count your lucky stars because, while you may not have as many of them as the OP, you sure as shootin' have a helluva lot more than pre-July 1 TSC and NSC filers . . . .

Yeh sorry you are having an even longer wait and I agree it is wrong.... VSC is now taking transfered apps from othe service centers so we may well be in the same boat you are.... I bet the transfers will be approved before those who filed to VSC... only time will tell....

I-130 for both parents

March 28th 2013 - Priority date/ NOA 1
November 14th 2013 - Transferred to Nebraska Service Center

January 7th 2014 - Case changed online to approved for both

January 8th 2014 - case changed to shipped to NVC

January 9th 2014 - case changed to NOA 2 mailed

January 10th 2014 - Received the hardcopy of the NOA 2 stating that NVC would issue a case number in 30 days approx.

January 21st 2014 - Case Received at NVC

February 26th 2014 - Case numbers and IIN number received - Wrong embassy code assigned...now waiting for new case numbers.

March 3rd 2014 - Filled in DS-261 for both parents

March 5th 2014- AOS available, paid and submitted AOS packet.

March 6th 2014 - USPS shows packet was delivered at NVC

March 10th 2014 - AOS shows as paid in the CEAC portal/AOS logged into system as being received by NVC.

March 11th 2014 - New case number assigned for my Dad.

March 20th 2014 - Paid IV fee for my Mum.

March 25th 2014 - AOS accepted by NVC with no checklist.

March 26th 2014 - Filled in and submitted DS-260 for my Mum

March 31st 2014 - AOS found in my Mum's file for my Dad - accepted and placed into his file/IV fee available for my Dad and Paid.

April 1st - Mailed all civil documents to NVC for both parents.

April 3rd: IV fee shows as paid in portal/submitted DS-260 for my Dad.

April 22nd: checklist issued for civil documents - NVC error ...

April 23rd: sent another certified copy of my marriage certificate

April 24th: Case complete! :)

April 30th 2014 - Medical scheduled for parents at Knightsbridge in London

June 11th: Interview at London Embassy - Approved :)

March 2005- Interview in USA EMBASSY in Philippine

April2005 - Waiting for my Police clearance from JApan

May 2005- submit the Police clearance in US EMbassy

June2005 - Waiting for my approval result

June 28 2005- Visa on hand!

July 13 2005- Arrive in USA

June -July 2007- have a notice from USCIS that may interview will be soon..

Aug 2007-- Re-schedule My interview..

sept 2007-- waiting for the new schedule for interview!

Oct.2007-- my son turn 1 year old...

Nov 2007-- I got the schedule for my interview.. so excited

Dec 17 2007- FINALLY the interview ...

Dec 21 2007.card production ordered

Dec 26 2007-Notice E-mailed welcoming the new permanent resident

Jan.2 2008- Approval notice been sent.

Jan 20 2008- Recieve the (10years) GREEN CARD on the mail! FINALLY!
