I dunno - we clean the litterboxes pretty regularly. Our place doesn't stink

Nah we use the crystals which are pretty good at hiding the cat smell. As long as you scoop it out regularly (and do it outside) you shouldn't have a problem.

I had cats and it never stunk... you need to clean the litter boxes a lot though...

now the people who lived upstairs there place kind of stank.. they had about 3 or 4 cats but they hardly ever cleaned the 4 or 5 litter boxes they had

We use the natural Feline Pine and scoop the poop twice a day...no stink. The pine absorbs the tinkle and turns it into a sawdust type of material with no tell-tale amonia smell.
