Im in manila now and looking for a person{ physical office} of some one that can help my fiancee with her k-1 visa in manila. Does anyone know of a businees over here that does this at a reasonable price. I will only be here for a few more days and if anybody can help that would be great. If she has access to a computer for Q & A she can get help right here. You will be filling out the K-1 as the sponsor. Forms and instructions can be downloaded at www.uscis.gov

the only form she has to fill out is g-325a, and it will be all up to you to start your petition. just read the guides and follow them. in my opinion i don't think i will trust any other person or even a lawyer that is to work on my papers. i have read lots of posts about lawyers screwing up making the waiting time longer compared to doing it on your own. following the guides are the easiest part of the journey but waiting for the uscis to approve your petition will make you want to pull your hair out. just my opinion

I agree! not only that it's cheaper cuz u will not need to pay lawyers or service charge to travel agencies, but also u'll be sure that your process is in good hands since you're the one working on it, it's not really hard though, like what's written above, THIS SITE IS VERY HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE, so just keep on visiting, posting and asking questions cuz people here will be very willing to help you and assist you 24/7 without service charge all the forms u need can be downloaded here, all informations can be ask and read.

i agree with racquel, a lot of people have done it successfully without acquiring the services of a lawyer.

The VJ people are more well versed with the ins and outs of the application process and this is speaking out of experience. VJ helped me a lot regarding our petition.

The first thing you have to acquire would be the K1 application packet which is downloadable via the USCIS website. My fiance acquired a K1 booklet which has all the forms needed to be submitted but I'm not sure where he got it.

Have your fiance fill out the G325 form and follow the instructions included in the packet and you'll be okay.

I agree... my fiancee hired a lawyer yet we figured out this form helped us more than him. Just do your research on VJ forum and you'll do fine. Goodluck!!!

We hired an attorney when my fiance (husband now) petitioned me for K-1 visa but their information is limited compare for what you will learn here. If you are confuse about something, just ask some questions and everybody here are willing to help you with your visa journey.
