My documents were received by the NVC on January 11th, they are still there, I am told they went into normal processing on January 15th. I've been calling daily and was hoping I'd have some good news, another member I just looked at had the fortunate situation below:

NVC Received : Jan 10, 2008

NVC Left : Jan 14, 2008

Consulate Received : Jan 16, 2008

can someone please tell me if there is reason for concern? I had to submit an RFE for the CSC and I wonder if this is also being scrutinized and my case will just need a little more time.

I am about to call my Senator, I don't want to get the standard answer the NVC gives "there is no standard set time for processing" for weeks.

Please give me some hope all is ok, I am just missing my fiance so awfully that I don't even want to think this will be delayed

It is possible that they go through more processing at NVC. Some people have been stuk in AP at NVC. Don't know if that is the case with you but it is possible.

ETA: I just saw that you have that the consulate recieved it...no need to worry
