OK, my wife came over on her K1 about 18 months ago. At that time, she was leasing a BMW. The lease expired in April and we purchased the car for it's balloon payment and now have ownership.

The leasing agency charged us taxes on the car and we are trying to get those taxes back. Do we use the same form that we use when we travel over and buy clothes and such, or is there a different form? After much goolging, I've learned that she is entitled to get the taxes back, but I'm not finding anything on a specfic form to use.

Also, I read on Revenue Canada's web site that if the item was purchased for shipping outside the US that we weren't supposed to be charged taxes. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

Thanks

Cliff
