Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah - Nik Turner!!!! Am having one of my moments of reverence!!!! I love Hawkwind!!! :luv::luv::luv::luv:

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Arrived in Houston on October 29th 2006

Married 17th November 2006

Lost my father 8th January 2007 (all dates are a blur after this)

Conditional Green Card dated 24th October 2007

We actually have quite a few big names on the Bazaar - Roye Albrighton (Nektar), Hugh Hopper (Soft Machine fame but never visited), Nick Barrett (Pendragon), Colin Fraser (Pallas), John Weinzierl (Amon Duul II but never visited), John Wesley, John Young, Stu Nichols & Dean Baker (Galahad), Gert Emmens, Leaf Hound (Peter French was the frontman for Atomic Rooster), Wild Turkey (Glen Cornick was bassist with Jethro Tull on This Was, Stand Up and Benefit), Fish (he has never visited though) - now we add Hawkwind to these amazing bands represented on the Bazaar....

Hawkwind is an amazing Space Rock band.... Nik Turner plays sax for Hawkwind (L)(L)(L)

Wanna hear some amazing space rock???? Listen to Dream Machine. Some of the members are ex-Ozric Tentacles. This band is better than the Ozrics. I will be interviewing them when I am in London - at one of their rehearsals - I am gonna have my cake and eat it too!!!!

The timeline... (Frankfurt) for the kids visas

10/22/2007 Filed I-130 x 2 in person + paid 710 USD (355 each )

10/22/2007 Filed DS-230 part 1 x 2

10/22/2007 Received the document checklist and FRN (case) numbers

12/18/2007 I-130 petition approved, but I didn't know. I was away at the time, didn't get confirmation letters til I got back from the states.

12/20/2007 Notice of Approval arrives in tha mail. According to the date received stamp on back of envelope at my post box.

Will now wait til hubby is back from Iraq to fax in checklist readiness, even though, I have been ready since day of lodging I-130's. all except medical.

02/18/2008 Faxed the "checklist" back to the consulate.

02/25/2008 Medicals completed.

02/25/2008 Appt letters in mail for appt on March 7th. Cant go due to prior military commitments. Emailed consulate and received an amended appt date of March 12th 2008.

03/12/2008 Visa interview - APPROVED x 2

03/27/2008 Visa's finally generated. I emailed the consulate. they apologised for the delay. They forgot to issue the visas after approval.

03/31/2008 Received visas

04/26/2008 Flying out of Frankfurt to next duty station on orders.
