Happy Friday!

I'm trying so very hard to be happy today but this weather is just killing me. Please oh please, pretty please with sugar on top...please let us have some spring weather soon.

Oh I know - it is so windy and cold - nevermind... not long and we'll be back in sunny California Friday made all the sweeter with the delivery of my visa at 9.35am so I could leave at 2.30pm!! Yay for Fridays!!

Why can't we have decent weather so I can get to a car boot sale?!

Yeh, I know what you mean about the limbo thing... I have all my packing still to do I have to move all my stuff out of the hotel on Sunday and then i'm off to my Mum's in Devon for a week... I will have to get up in the loft and sort through EVERYTHING I am feeling an eBay sale coming on!

Why don't you try eBay rather than a car boot sale?

eBay is just too expensive if things don't sell. I am going to list my DVDs and CDs on Amazon though I think then if they don't sell I will take them to a car boot sale. I have a few things I want to sell on eBay but I am just trying to get through the bulk of all my stuff so I can have a good sort out!! I have sooo much to take to a car boot sale - it prolly wouldn't sell on eBay as it wouldn't justify the postage

Slowly getting there but want to clear the stuff I already have in the garage before I sort through more!!!

Hmm, I never thought of Amazon.... I have a sh*tload of books. Might have to look into that too!

I sold a few of my OH's Uni books on Amazon, I know they wouldn't have sold anywhere else, but it did take a while for them to go. They stay listed for months, so you got time. With ebay, you gotta keep relisting.

I'm sooo dying to go. I just can't till i'm finished my contract. It's so annoying to know you're going but not soon enough to do much productive towards it.

Defo - I've sold bunches of my uni books on there and still have a few to go - if they don't sell before I go they will end up in a charity shop or something which sucks as there are some pretty new ones there!!

I think i'll maybe leave them listed and then if they sell I will ask my Mum if she minds sending them for me... What about payments and stuff? Can they pay into your bank account or by paypal etc?

They do pay in to bank accounts, and I was surprised at how much they take as a selling fee, but when I thought about it, they wouldn't have sold elsewhere, so any money for those books was better than nothing
