I'm moving into my new apartment today.

In fact, the movers are here right now packing everything up for me while I sit on my behind, surf the net, and drink coffee.

I'll have to do all the unpacking myself though so I'm conserving my energy right now.

Ooooh Gillian - that's exciting! Will you decorate and things once you are all set up again? It shouldn't take too long What are your plans for Christmas this year?

I won't decorate because they re-paint the apartments each time a tenant leaves and they are done in nice neutral shades, which I like.

I have no elaborate plans for Christmas this year, just a quiet day. Myself and a girl called Alice (who lives on my complex and will also be alone at Christmas) are getting together for a couple of hours. I'll speak to my family and Scott on the phone for a while and that'll be about it. Obviously there'll be the obligatory eating and drinking myself stupid during the course of the day. I can't go too mad though because I have work the next day!

Oh yuck - Jeremy and his aunt have work the next day as well so I think I will be drinking beer and eating leftovers I meant Christmas decorations as well

I can't believe it is almost Christmas already - I am so not Christmassy at the moment even though I've been listening to Christmas music and making jewelry today. I had a brainwave and remembered where I packed the last of my beads and things

Okay, now I remember why my darling, sweet MIL drives me crazy. She is CONSTANTLY asking me if she can help me do this or that, or how is my work coming along, or telling me how much she loves me. Now, in theory this sounds great, but it's just SOOOOO nice I think I am going to die of sugar overload before Christmas. Oh my god, someone shoot me now because I don't think I can hack another fifteen days!

Haha - fifteen??? Well - nothing new here except Jeremy took a liking to some cherry vodka and drank it too fast to realise how drunk he was. After reassuring me that he wasn't tired, didn't want to go to bed and felt ok, he (about five minutes later) said he didn't feel too good. Being the savvy person I am, I dashed to the loo, opened the window and sorted myself out before handing him a bottle of water and telling him not to drink it too quickly.

It sounded very violent (TMI???) and I couldn't stop myself laughing enough to ask him if I could get him anything else. Luckily by the time I managed to ask, he was ok - I think I got it all covered before he started. He is now lying on the bathroom floor on his back so I guess I should check he's not dead...

Ok - he is not dead - I asked if he was ok and he very loudly replied "YEAH" in between deep-breathing

On another note, he also commented that we were waiting on hearing from "NCIS" about our immigration stuff

Poor Jeremy! Hmmm, glad to know "NCIS" is in charge of your case!

Bruce is mopey these past two days, right in time for his mum to be here, which looks fantastic. He keeps saying he's fine, but when you've lived with someone for nearly three years you know what is "fine" and what is "I am so miserable I may poke my eyeballs out with a fondue fork." So his mum is even more fussy with worry, which makes me even more nervous. I do like her company though, because she is just about the only person I can b*tch to about him who actually understands what I'm talking about. The more I talk to her, the more I find out that his exceedingly bad behaviour and red mists come from his dad.

Okay, I need to get back to work. Yes, I'm working on Sunday night because I totally fluffed a deadline on something.

As for ganging up on Bruce - poor guy!!! I know I hate it when Jeremy and my mum get to "discussing" my more... interesting "personality traits"
