Rent is only $720 a month, including bug spraying! Once I've found a job I hope to move into one of their 2 beds but I don't want to do that until I'm earning - best to keep my expenditure as low as possible until then.

I did all the paperwork today and paid the first month's rent in advance and it's mine from 15th September.

hey dudes, did the stupid Social Security office today. It actually only took a half an hour. And what's weird is that the Hollywood SS Office reminded me of the Croydon Home Office. Maybe there's some warehouse somewhere, where they sell pre-fab bueracratic offices?
