I am bundle of nerves right now. Gareth is at a job interview right now and I think I am more nervous than he is.

Thanks! He still hasn't called me yet to let me know how it went. I am going to assume it must be going well if he has been in the interview for almost two hours. Every time my phone rings I get all excited thinking it's him calling me, but then it is just one of my co-workers with some stuff for me to handle for them (some of my co-workers are a little bit special if you get my meaning).

I went out driving by myself for a few hours yesterday. I only got honked twice in about 3 hours. And once was a meanie who was honking cos I wasn't turning left quickly enough for his liking. I hope I'm improving, but of course there were no independant observers to tell me about all the stuff I didn't notice. For now, I'll just keep repeating my mantra: 'If Paris Hilton can do this, I can too!'

That is a very good point I braved cycling today - I stuck to mainly right turns as I get scared on the big roads and I went a different way home without getting lost!!! I almost died on the way home though - cycling through 110f after not getting on a bike for years is so not fun.

And my ### hurts

Still working on a plan for the mister - think the hose might have to run through the house as can't find an outside tap nearby - we'll figure something out. Fold-out chairs or something would be great if anyone can bring any though - we have limited seating and it would be cool to sit outside if we get the misters going

Sorry.....I got super busy at work The receptionist is out sick (she is out sick a lot....not kidding...at least 2 days a week sometimes more). Anyway. He called me and talked to me for 5 minutes before I had to rush off to help somebody with another emergency. He spent over two hours at the job interview. The managers told him that they were going to have a decision before the end of the week. Hopefully he hears some good news from them. It's a good job and he really wants to start getting out of the house (being a house husband isn't really his ideal gig). Now we just wait to hear their decision.

Thank you! I am sure everybody I work with thinks I am a huge dork because I immediately ran out of my office and told my lunch buddies about Gareth getting a job. I don't even care. I needed some good news today.
