It looks like Scott will be moving out of the house on Saturday. I'm not really sure how I feel about it. Part of me is relieved and part of me is very sad. I have a feeling that my Friday evening alone with Desperate Housewives and Gordon Ramsey will involve more wine than it usually does.

Oh, Gillian. *hugs* I'm sure the way you feel is totally normal, but that doesn't make it any easier for you to have to go through this. Now that he has made this decision, it must be a bit uncomfortable to be around him, and yet the sadness because this has not turned out the way you had hoped or wanted. Stay strong. You are doing amazingly well, even if you don't feel it.

I have some good news! I got an offer today on my "old" house! A little low, so I made a counter offer. Now just waiting to hear back! Fingers crossed.

He's only moving about 4 miles away - back to his old apartment with his brother.

I completely understand!!! I was talking to Jeremy about it last night and we checked the temperatures in Burbank... if you're burning up at around 90f then you need some serious air con!! We've invested in a mister thing for outside now - we just need to find a way to get water to it... Also our patio furniture we saw in World Market is gone So we are back to square one on that

For reference it was about 78f in the living room last night with the air con on... But my puter had also been running so maybe it could cool down more - it's only been getting to about 95-100 here the past couple of days though so that might have helped as well

What about 3.30pm your time, which is 6.30pm my time? If anyone else wants to join but can only make a different time then I can change with no problem, as long as it's not past my bedtime. I don't mind where we chat and I've never used the VJ one so no idea what it's like.

Thatnks, everyone!! I am soooooo happy!! I know its only been on the market a month, but its a huge relief to know its sold! Hopefully no major probs on the home inspection to interfere with the sale. I'm pretty sure we fixed all the major stuff.

Have fun on the chat tomorrow night! I will be a dancin' fool at the concert tomorrow!! For anyone who cares, I am going to see Great Big Sea - a Canadian Celtic rock band. They are a rollicking good time!!!
