g'morning all. and tough call on that one, maven. is your editor american?

Morning! She's a naturalized (see I used the z!) American citizen from Serbia. I will bend to the will of the University on this one -- they have particular usage they insist upon, like it's always "U.S." not "US", for example.

I think I need to just lump it on this one and go for the Americanisms -- after all, I'm not going to read this steaming pile again in my life.

Congratulations! Did you have your wedding in the church or in the railroad town? I hope to take Nicky out there this fall, but of course there is always the excitement of Harold Warp's Pioneer Village to compete with Stuhr!

I'm glad the weather turned out ok as my MoH (who is from Kearney) nearly had her dad's home blown away by a tornado on Thursday night. Jeez I miss the weather back home...

Congratulations Debz!!! These big events are almost always easier to appreciate in retrospect since you're too nervous and anxious and busy beforehand to be able to relax and enjoy. Glad it was a good day for you both!

I packed a suitcase this morning :D

How many are you taking with?

I wonder what Nicky has been doing for knickers since his last trip here. I went through his drawer and he had at least a dozen pairs....

Speaking of which, he finally ordered his kilt for the wedding yesterday. I imagine that he wouldn't need the knickers for that so much!
