some frazzled questions about Packet 3 forms

1. On the DS-230, there's a space (#10) for 'permanent address in the United States' - I know what this will be; my fiance bought a place last year, but it's let right now. So do I put that address, with the tenant's name? (it asks for someone who 'currently lives there') Or do I put my fiance's name? (mail addressed to that place gets to him without any problems) Or do I put my fiance's current address? would it matter?

Same question for #11, really.

2. The document I received from the Consulate tells me only to fill out Part 1 (the first two pages), but there are two more pages - should I trust that they actually know what they're talking about, or should I just go ahead and fill in pages 3 and 4 anyway? is there any time when I'm going to need those two pages?

3. Not really a question, just a rant - I have to go to bloody SCOTLAND YARD to get fingerprints done for my Aussie police check; I was given two wrong phone numbers, and the correct one was engaged for more than an hour... when I finally got through, the earliest appointment slot was Saturday 26th January. It will take half an hour and cost £60. And when I have the damn thing then I'm ready to START my application for the police check. Apparently the first (wrong) number I was given is 'just for CRB police check fingerprints'. Oh, I see, because somehow my fingers will mutate so we need different checks.

egad, I hate everything and everyone right now; this process is farked :angry:

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

oh, and Post 1A (supplement to Post #1) -

according to the Consulate documentation I, as a female aged 35, don't need to fill in form DS-157. Am I reading this correctly?

1. I would say put your fiance is living. I don't know that it matters though.

2. Most consulates want the applicant to fill out and return Part 1 and the checklist before being issued an interview date. You would then bring Part 2 with you to the interview.

And, you do not need to fill out the DS 157 :no:
