Tax trascripts

I have sent my fiance my tax transcripts and my Mom's (my co-sponsor) tax transripts for the last 3 years. Is this sufficient or do I still need the W-2's and 1090's? I really hope not coz the tax transcripts has all the info they need.

Please advice. Thanks in advance.

I think that's it as long as you above poverty level. I would wait to hear from someone else that went through the process recently. Let us know because I dont want to have to collect all those papers (bank letter, employer letter, and pay stubs) if I don't need to.

Chuck, the packet 4 that I got from US embassy gave us a list of the documentations to bring for the interview and which one of them is Evidence of Support which compose of Affidavit of Support Form signed and notarized, Income Tax Return(Form 1040), Form W-2, Employment Letter stating salaries and bank statements may be included. Your fiancee might be put in Administrative Review if she didn't bring those with her. It takes months to be put on AR.

I've read of a case where the CO wanted the W-2 and didn't care if the info was on the transcript. I don't think that case was at the Manila embassy, but I'm trying to cover all the possibilities and do have the W-2 in my papers.

during my interview most of us there was asked for tax transcript and W2

You can request copies of W2s from the IRS but they take longer. It would be easier and quicker to ask for a copy from the employers directly.

Better to have it all, than be re-scheduled..

It's a case to case basis, sometimes depends on the interviewers mood if they gonna ask for it or not. I dont have my husband transcripts during my interview yesterday, but i got his 1040s and W2s. Anyway, they didn't asked me any financil documents, but for my peace of mine, I got it all ready.

I have a question regarding ITR's..

So ok.. What I submitted to NVC for my Affidavit of Support I-864 was my 2004, 2005, and 2006..

Now that I have an Interview on Feb 20. Do I need to show 2007 ITR also... I am afraid they might ask me for a co-sponsor and put my wife on AR..

I didn't make that much last year.. I am a $600 short of the poverty line level..

I was thinking of not mentioning 2007 ITR since I didn't submit that for my I-864 anyways..

What should I do?

since the deadline for filing taxes is April 15th, i don't think they would ask for it, since your interview is in Feb.

Plus what I had in mind was.. Aren't they only going ask you for the ITR's you submitted to NVC with the I-864?

I will just shut my mouth regarding 2007 ITR..

Thanks all for your input. Just to be sure, and because I have a cosponsor, I just went ahead and scanned all of our w2's from 2004-2006. He can just print them out and bring it with him to the embassy during his interview.

I have all our tax trascripts, employer letters, bank statements, and I had just accepted an offer from my future employer (I graduate in May from Pharmacy school) and they are giving me a letter that I will give to Patrick that states the amt of money I will be making after graduation. I hope that's enough documentation... Oh, I hate paperwork! I want this to be over I am sure everyone feels the same!
