I submitted an adjustment of status application (H1B -----> now married to US citizen) in SEPT 2007.

I was required to submit an RFE.

I received both my EAD and AP in approximately 60 days ie in NOV 2007.

However, I have not received an INTERVIEW LETTER.

How long does this normally take?

Should I be worried?

Should I schedule an infopass to find out more information?

Thanks.

I'm assuming you responded to and met all the requirements of the RFE?

If so, you probably just need to be patient and wait for processing to complete on your application. Approval/denial/interview would usually come kind of soon after they get the RFE'ed documents, but it's quite unpredictable. When was the RFE?

Yes, RFE successfully submitted and then received over 60 days ago (beginning of NOV 2007) with no further requests nor correspondence.

The 1 document they required was relatively simply to comply with.

OK. I haven't been through the AoS hoops yet, but I'm guessing you should give it another few weeks before worrying. Might even want to call USCIS about it. Perhaps an inquiry about that case will cause some action when they realize they are a little behind on it (don't hold your breath).

EAD and AP are the most important thing (for the short term). Glad you got those quickly.

I'm in the same situation.

I filed my AOS at the end of July (techincally an August filer). I mailed my RFE back and it was received my USCIS on October 17th. I had my biometrics on November 9th and my case was last touched on November 12th. I haven't heard or received anything since then.

If you go to the processing times on www.uscis.gov look up your local office. My local office Tampa states that its just working on applications from June 18th, so i've still got a bit of a wait til they get to my date.

I wouldn't worry about it just yet. I know others are getting approved who filed after us but if we go by the processing dates then we shouldn't worry yet.

Hope this helps.
