Current Status: Card production ordered.

On January 16, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

Is EAD ever granted before biometrics? Just curious. We have our bio appt next week, hope EAD follows soon after. Hubby is getting antsy, bored, frustrated, all of the above.

I think Ead granted after biometric since your picture from biometric and your signature will appear in the card.. Just my thoughts though lol.. I have not received any touches prior to the production of the card .SO I was surprised.. though I pray to God about it.

I believe the EAD comes after the biometrics... It could sometimes take at least 2 months or so after filing. Goodluck to you!
