Hi guys.

My finacee and I are applying for the finacee visa.

I just came back from the physical at the Juárez, Mexico consulate labs.

Everything went on smoothly, just one thing is concerning me. When I checked in to have my name, passport and case number registered, they told me they didn't need my vaccination records. Ok, I said. I thought that was weird.

Ok, so I go in, they draw blood, ex-rays, etc.

When they finish the physical exam, after they ask me to undress and the check me out in the nude. They tell me that I don't have to go to the next area because my visa doesn't require the vaccination records.

So that's twice they told me, once at the front desk and second after the physical.

Is this normal? Or was there a mistake?

Thanks

K-Visas are NON-Immigrant and vaccinations are optional before visa issuance.

You will need to have foreign vaccination record transcribed to a supplement in the USA by a US Civil surgeon before filing to adjust status.

So get a copy of vaccinations record to bring with you to the USA.

Really?

That's good to know... My fiancee is missing a couple, and I'd rather deal with them later (when she enters the US).

Thanks!
