the last time i went on to the USCIS site, i would click on the local office to check the processing dates of the I485... im pretty sure it was just last thursday that i checked...

tonight, when i logged in, they are only processing naturalizations at the local office and the AOS has been moved to my service center (VSC)

im just a little confused

On the processing dates of VSC the only I-485s they mention is the employment based ones, not family based. How do you know your case went to VSC?

well, my local office only shows that they are processing naturalizations... whereas, just 2 days ago, they were also processing the I485s

i dont know where else it would have gone... i certainly got no notification or anything... hasnt been touched since my hubbys biometrics in jan

I'd say it was a glitch. Give it some time and check back.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

rats if it is... i was kind of hoping that the VSC would do it quicker than the local office which is a damn year behind

*sigh

how do you check the local office processing dates, i thought only service centre and district offices could be checked, not the local offices?

Most Service Centers do not process I-485's. They are only processed by either the DO or by the CSC if it has been sent there..

Magpie,

The proper term for a local office is District Office or Sub Office. (For many people the District and Sub offices are not very 'local' at all, except relative to a Service Center.)
