Salam everybody

now im filling my DS-230 form , and it requires to combine it with translated records of my birthdate, copes of my passport , police records , marriage certificate and finally Military records,i got everything ready but i want to inquire more about the passoport copy and the military records

how many pages in the egyptian passport they need? i never been out of egypt to be noticed , so i dont have any stamps.

i never joined army , only got a certificate states that im under request for three years from the date i got that it , in the same year after my graduation. , so i dont have any records only this certficate,in the form it asks if i ever served in military . i answered no, the question is , shall i send that certificate with the translation to show them i never served in military?

thanks for your reply in advance

salam

They will need the whole passport, the consulate will take the passport and affix a visa stamp in it.

Attach a copy of that cert, and indicate that you have not served.

thank you for the reply, so you suggest i dont send the original certficate i got from the military?..

and for the passport i know they will take the passport in the interview ,but now we are in the DS-230 stage where they want a copy of the passport, and it has many pages and there are only four pages indicate my personal data, age , full name , ...etc, the rest does not show anything?

so what do you think?

Copy the whole passport, cover and back, too.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

If you got a certificate from military, then send a copy of it.

Passport does not need translating of pages having both English and Arabic
