Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I don't think they're doing this "in an effort to help Larry Craig." I think it's because police are harassing gay men who have sex in public in general. There's been sort of a witch hunt in Minneapolis-St. Paul after Larry Craig.

In other news, at that wedding I went to last weekend, a girl sidled up to the bar and informed me that she had just had sex with the DJ in the bathroom. Later I went to the bathroom and tried to make my best guess about which stall to avoid.

So if someone had cameras in the toilet bowls of a public restroom and I found about it, I would have no right to be pissed because I shouldn't have any expectation of privacy in a public restroom?

Good point. I certainly think there is an expectation of privacy. If there wasn't, there would be no doors in the stalls. Why put them in at all? Because people expect privacy. Defecation/urination are still activities we usually visually shield from others, it's a social norm, no reason to expect that to break down in a restroom.

Well noone’s going to install cameras, legally at least – but I think the point here is that while, yes, you do indeed have some expectation to use a public bathroom in peace without people gawping at you, that limited privacy (for it is limited) does not extend to protecting you if you commit a crime in there.

Heck there is one thing about using restrooms that cracks me up... when going in while chatting with friends one of the participants suddenly goes quiet while doing their business... is this some sort of public bathroom etiquette or something??

As for the privacy issue... I could care less. Do it if you want to but I'd rather be hygienic about sloshing around in a confined space designated for human waste expulsion!! Privacy may be expected but certainly not granted as long as the walls around the stall bear the public designation. Nevertheless, those that have the urge should not be prohibited from participating in these acts as long as the area is in an adult-centered building and definitely not where a child can overhear or even witness these activities. There is such a thing called decency and beyond that, perhaps some law violation if a minor views what can be construed as pornographic activity in public.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Exactly. There is a right to privacy in a public restroom STALL... otherwise, any store, restaurant, etc would be free to put "security" cameras in any stall and video tape you doing the deed and publish that video in any place it likes. I like to think I'm not going to find footage of me in a stall on the internet or funniest videos or something

No one should be having sex in there though... duh!

I dislike conversation in the restroom unless it's urgent and brief. I hate people who want to tell me a story while I'm pissing.

I just crack up though... its like a ####### becomes such an energy-dispensing activity that some people can't muster the strength to talk. This may be an indication that a higher fiber diet is necessary.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.
