Contacting CSC for I129F Status... K3

I'm heavily considering calling CSC next week to inquire about our case status, considering next week will be the 90-day mark since either the I130/129F have been "touched" (I've heard that if you call them before 90 days then they'll tell you to call back later, after 90 days...). Anyways this will be my first time calling them. Could someone please give me the phone# for CSC, specifically the number to call for case status inquiries?

And what is the tactful way of asking them "what the hell is taking so long?"

Thanks a million! Shukran Kteer!!

Touches, at the processing stage you are at, are not important and you shouldn't be too worried if you have not received any for a while. Some cases can go all the way through to approval without a single touch, others receive many touches but this is generally due to the petitioner phoning up and just having someone "look" at your file (nothing is achieved by this). A text-book case should only receive touches when their petition is sent to the service centre that is going to adjucate it and then start to receive touches again just before the final approval.

Your petitions are still several months away from being adjucated so phoning up the customer service line wouldn't benefit you, as they will only tell you that you are not outside of the 6 month processing time. In fact, we have VJers who have phoned up when their petitions have reached 6 months, just to be told to wait a further 30 days.
