Lai has her medical and her son done 25-27 of Jan. Lucky she lives in Mandaluyong. So, she is just preparing documents, selling things, buying some clothes, preparing to send all not needed things to her province with her mama.

Anybody wanna buy a car?

Hi guys, I am a newbie here and I just signed up to share my K1 timeline too. I am scheduled for a medical this March 4, 2008 and interview on March 11, 2008. Just worrying a bit coz my period is due to come by the last week of Feb or first week of March. What happens when I have my period on the day of my medical? I cannot have an early medical for that matter coz I am waiting for my daughter to fly here from the province so we get to have our medical at the same time. The way I see it, we cannot have a different schedule for our medical. Any help on this would highly be appreciated. Btwm we hired our lawyer since day one but still, knowing info from those who actually gone through the same process would come in handy. Thanks

There are other threads that more appropriately answer this question, however you can find a packet 4 here: US Embassy Manila K-1 Packet

Does anyone know which company the foward mail over for packet 4. I am pretty sure they ship out using DHL, but DHL doesn't deliver in my wife's city, so I am not sure where she should look to pick it up if she wasn't home.

She will be leaving home in about 16 days, so I guess she just won't have her interview appointment letter to go to her interview. Is this something she can pick up once she is there in Manila? We are working with printing out the rest of the packet online.

Is it ok to do a medical exam on a different schedule? My daughter and I are supposed to be having the medical on March 4 but I am planning to have an early medical alone as she can't make it (she is coming over to Manila on March 1). I called SLEC and they said its ok to have a different medical schedule even if we are in the same petition. Anyone who had the same experience before where K1 and K2 had medical on separate dates? Will it not affect the sending of results to the embassy?

If you expect your period at the time of your medical, you might as well go for an early medical. It will be a wasted day if you will go there and they can't perform the tests on you becoz of your period. They will ask you to go back after you're done. But since usually the medical is scheduled a week before the interview, best to have an early medical. As long as you have the appointment letter already, you should be able to do your medical already. It's ok to have the medical separately. You can finish the medical in a day and then go back the next day for the results. I suggest you take your first day Tuesday-Wednesday so there will be less people.

Hi guys, I am a newbie here and I just signed up to share my K1 timeline too. I am scheduled for a medical this March 4, 2008 and interview on March 11, 2008.
